Long since the famous battle with which put Jakku on the map, there still is a mysteriousness among the desert tiles. Michael Giden hated this place. There was someone out there that was responsible for the demise of his family. He was disgraced when the stranger took the blaster and shot him in that bar on Tatooine. Repaid debts and all, there was stil obviously some unfinished business left in the galaxy. He had striven to ensure that there was a sizable gap between him and his home world of Naboo, just to be safe. He still had friends there, a life. It was still a small glimmer of hope that that still existed.
A command droid talking to him snapped him out of his daydream. He sighed, and listened as the droid spouted off the recent results of a scan done on the planet's surface. Nothing threatening. Giden knew that the droid could be trusted, but paranoid as one is, decided to once again order another scan, this time more thoroughly. He didn't want to travel to the capital of the planet only to be ambushed because he didn't double check his area.
The sizeable force disembarked from his freighter could definitely stand toe to toe with a measly pirate or bounty hunter. Droids could be trusted not to be turned on him. They protected a sizeable cargo, and one that could not be lost. It might just be the key to finding out an answer to a burning question.
What happens to the lost when they fall from grace?
