Private The Eshan Way

Jedi Temple of Secher Nbiw

The sight of the temple itself was something few others could ever match. Wandering Mountain, the largest of the jedi masters one could meet carried the temple upon his back. The gyro design allowing it to remain level as he moved and there was always more. The jedi who roamed the halls in the silvery white robes of the celestial jedi. An offshoot but they were stationed around the galaxies... Peridea and other worlds as they expanded into force planes to explore and search for origins and clues to the greater mysteries of the force. Sarianna remaining here as she was able to train and the jedi could use the Silver strands the jedi exclusive hyperlanes connecting the temples and more. She had found many of the things they did and opened up crazy compared to others but it was an impressive feat as she stood in the training center.

The movements were clam.... calculated as her body reached outwards with the staff in her hand. The sleekness of Thessia: Blade of the Warmaster was something few saw as Sarianna had developed it to be the weapon of a weaponmaster. From the crystals within it that altered not just the blade properties but also the style. Able to activate a flickerphase and sickle crystal that would allow it to change things... duel phase and it could change from kimber making the blade harmless to ghostfire making it invisible. Sasori had developed the pieces but she used them as it complimented her Silverlight Robes were made to empower her abilities when she spun around. Letting the staff rotate around her body and extend with the telescopic pole of it into a saber pike before the blade activated.

Then came the snap-hiss as silver blades appeared with an orange core of the crystal deep within. THe jedi warmaster had changed little since Darron Wraith and the jedi wargames. That saw her able to reach the position along with her skills in battlemind and meditation. The small grin on her face as the sash over the miraluka's eyes remained. Blonde-white hair all set up. Her sabers changed with the flick of a switch... as the solid blades became whips and extended into several lashes. The dangerous nature of them allowed her to keep rotating the polearm and it was more like a massive net of saber blades sweeping across the room. She extended the saff into three sections as the power hummed letting her rotate and change to the kimber stone as the whips raked across the floor.

Sarianna moved finally where she was testing out more of it... allowing the whips to become a solid blade again on either side but the blades hooked into sickles... she could use them to catch and the blades only looked more like they could bend as she slashed. Training remotes around for them and training droids for the jedi who would come to the course that she hoped would allow them to get a really impressive skill set or at least some ideas of what could be done with a lightsaber if you wanted to specialize in that area of skill. She stopped and deactivate the saber sitting down as the blue robes gleamed with the force and she allowed herself to reach out... preparing herself and setting the saber in front of her as the interlocking sections connected into a solid saber hilt once again.

She rose and the silverlight robes gleamed in the light as her hair trailed behind her. Thick braids together obscuring her sash that was over her face. Simple black silk to hide her eyes. She moved as her body twisted in the air dodging one of the rockets and she reached out letting the force wrap around it. Gripping it as she was in the river of battlemind letting it all flow. THe telekinetic grip sending it around the room and crashing into another of the training droid as it slashed cutting the rocket and detonating near him and a second sphere that detonated. She let out a breath before crouching down low as the gravity shifted. Heavier and heavier to physically push her and the cuffs on her wrists, upper arms, ankles and waist responded... increasing the weight of what she was doing.

She had her blade and she shifted it adjusting in mid stride as the middle section went to her belt and she held the two sections of it. Spools of guide wire coming out and activating as lightwhips shifted around the room. The discharge of excess energy for the blade went with a hiss. Saber combat now could be more interesting and she had opened the room for anyone who wanted to learn form and function. In this case she was teaching the three rings, engraved into the floor of the room while she stayed in the center and used the stronger form rotating with the whips. She had rarely seen.... a joke other jedi with lightwhips but it was important that she be able to use all blade styles to better understand the needs of the students and effectively make counters. The same as knowing the forbidden forms of lightsaber combat.

The lashes went out and sliced through one of the droids wrapping around another and then she sent it flying across the room. She had set up the three rings here and from the inner most ring she had stayed, outer ring is her reach and the middle ring served a great place. "Alright end session." She said the words and stood there feeling some of the bruises from the exposed sections as cleaning droids were coming in to make sure the room itself was ready for them to go through. She could jump into saber forms if they wanted but the rings of combat and strike zones was an important aspect for a jedi to learn. She continued to move and use the blade as it came back to her in one hand. The jedi master moving with the physical weights on her body.

Victor quietly mediated in the backroom of the transporter as it made way to Secher Nbiw. His mind relaxed, and he scanned everything around him through the gentle hum of the generator, as well as the ship passing through the space around them.
He sensed the crew on the ship chatting as they drew near the planet. He would slowly open his eyes as the ship entered orbit. He looked outside his window on the cold and icy planet. It wasn't his first time off Tython, but at least it was not Coruscant with its sprawling cities and constant chatter.
As the ship landed and the hiss of the engines stopped,

Victor would make his way out of the ship. He looked around for a moment as the breeze hit before pulling his hood over his head. He was still wearing his grandfather's cloak. It matched perfectly with his white robes, and it was a piece of his home.
"Greetings, Padawan Blackheart. Master Misarr is awaiting you at the temple." A droid would say. Victor would acknowledge him with a slight bow.
"Thank you. Please...lead the way," he would say as they began to make their way to the icy Jedi Temple.

As they walked up the mountain, he would notice that the temple itself was being carried by some sort of giant. He had never seen something like that, so it had caught him a bit by surprise.
"What...." he would say in a bit of a shock as he continued to go up the hill. He knew from the history books that this planet was a part of what was called "Silver Jedi" back in the day, but that was about it. As they approached the temple, the droids would stop and inform Victor that from here he would have to move alone.

Luckily, the gates of the temple itself were wide open. So slowly made his way inside. The architecture was certainly different from that on Tython.
"Master Misarr," he would say as he approached the Jedi Master before taking a deep bow. "My name is Victor Blackheart it will be a pleasure to study from you"

The temple continued to move and Sarianna paused only for a moment when she heard a voice. Stopping and brionging herself to a ready stance as the white hair gleamed covering her sash and going over the shoulders of her robes. Thessia returned to a more standard look for a lightsaber as she slid it to her belt with a bow. "Welcome. I hope it was easy enough to find." She bowed her head though and walked around. Hands in front of herself as she readjusted her hair to be behind her ears and shoulders. Leaving the sash exposed but silvery hair on pale skin was easy enough and as she remained there with a look on her face though of interest. "We'll start with the simple... what were you hoping to learn." She was prepared and going over it as she took the saber from her hip to adjust it as needed.

"It was not too difficult, Master." Victor would say as he got up from his bow. He looked around the room for a moment before regaining his focus on the question.

"I...I am willing to learn anything! You would be my first Master...I haven't had one yet, so I only know the basics of what we were taught at Tython," he said as he made his way towards a stand to hang his black cloak, revealing pure white robes beneath it.

He still was unsure as to what to expect, but he was prepared for anything. he knew that first impressions were the most important, and he intended for his to be good.

"I was told you are a battlemaster? Perhaps...we could study some saber combat? Teacher at the academy on Tython always told me I am naturally gifted with a saber...But I can't say I had a proper challenge yet.

She gave a nod of understanding. "I am more then that. A battlemaster has skills, I was trained by Darron Wraith to be in function a battle and weapon master and hone my own battle meditation. He gave me a title of Warmaster when we fought the One Sith to denote the difference in skills." She said it more like a matter of fact. "With his help in moving meditation and refinement we developed a limited by means to use the technique while moving instead of being required to stay in one place and taking away valuable resources like jedi to act as bodyguards." SHe said it and in the fights she had learned the danger of stationary positions.

"But a history from me is not what you need and most jedi from the Republics fall are long since gone." She started to walk and adjusted her sabers settings for a moment as she spoke holding it out. "So we'll start with the simple but move past it easily enough. I want you to have the skills with a blade but the most invaluable skill is knowing when to engage and when to run." She waited a moment in case of protest. "And running even for a jedi is an invaluable strategy. The dangers we face are many and often we do not have that options but disengaging and getting the best position can be more valuable then an entire squadron."

She said it while moving around and with her foot she was making small adjustments in the room to form a circle that could be used. Her fingers manipulating the internal switches with the force for the saber as it was made to be configured to what she might need or require. "The other important aspect is drive, fighting is easy. You can learn a thousand techniques, a million ways to show talent but it is meaningless if your actions aare not meant for your body type and skills. You can't always make a padawan master a greatsaber... despite some showing they could. Speed, precision, power, form, technique can all be different."

Victor observed as the master moved around. He would listen to every word she said. He would slowly tuck the strand of silver hair behind his ear, a habit he had developed in recent times when thinking particularly hard.

"Thank you, Master...I always trained by mostly standing still against all the training droids at the academy. Perfecting each strike until it felt like breathing. I can't say I...ever tried to move my meditation, but I would be more than willing to learn how to keep my mind and body calm and ready."

He would step half pace into the circle she had drawn. His gate was fixed on the boundary lines. "On Tython, we were told Jedi don't run...but what you say makes sense. If a retreat can save lives, one should consider it without shame." He said as he took form and pulled his hilt from his side.

"Since my preferred method has been Djem So...I do apologize in advance; however, I can push slightly too hard at times. Its direct and strong attacks fit me."

He paused and looked upon his master, prepared for further instruction and their first training session together.

Djem So.... a favorite but she would admit it to few... she was supposed to use all of them and teach the strength and weaknesses of them all. "A good form to use after learning the initials of Shii-Cho." She said it while stopping in front of him and watching for a moment.. the miraluka features were the sash... most thought of her purely as echani from the hair and skin so she looked and it was more she was looking through him. "Take you stance, a djem so defense is meant to be one of the strongest but a practitioner should be ready for different forms needed." She said it with a look on her face. "The best advantage of using it is one of the bigger weaknesses. Needing to be almost stationary to draw an attacker in and keep them close for the counter. The conservation of energy is important to maintain yourself in a fight but you will always face more then sabers... and this new era of jedi and sith has seen many advances in sabers." She said it and he had seen a little she imagined her her saber while it was in her hand.... but there were many more designed to be dangerous.

Victor would take a step forward, his feet grounded and knees soft. He would quickly enter the djem so stance as he listened to his master's further instructions and soft words.

"I see what you mean, master....I have long relied on the raw power of Djem So, meeting force with force, but I can see how this can be a liability." he would pause, drawing a steady breath.

"I am eager to learn how to add this mobility to my defence...would you please demonstrate the footwork you would recommend?" he would ask as he pointed at the center. He was curious about what his Master would show him. He was able to read about her in the archives back at Tython, but could not find exact recordings of her exploits due to her not being officially part of the New Jedi Order.

He had heard about Battle Meditation in the past, but not about the so-called "moving meditation," and that remained in his ear. Could it be useful in combat? Would it possibly allow him to control his emotions even further?

He bows deeply, eyes glowing with determination.
"Master, I stand ready to follow your instruction in every detail. May the Force guide our training."

She gave a nod and moved towards the center letting him remain for his stance as her hand came out. The hilt of her saber in it and the blade activated with a snap-hiss that echoed. The silvery white blade glowing bright for a moment as she brought it forward near the defensive stance. "ONe of the first is the blade itself. It is unlikely you will encounter another blade like Thessia. It has been crafted for the specific purpose of having the abilities to get through problems." She said it less prideful and more as a matter of fact. The blade itself remaining there for a moment as it began to shift... the tip curving into a hook and adjusting as the sickle effect of it from the crystal assembly worked and adjusted it. The area where the blade was being held only shifting so the sickle curve went over the blade.

"The defense will hold against all but a Sickle, a Dahgee crystal within the blade allows the sabers blade to twist and curve. Which can allow it to go over your defensive blade to a vulnerable area. There is also the new favorite a capacitor in the hilt designed as a blade drain so if they use the flowing water where you guide and work to direct the flow of combat by keeping the blades in contact. It is meant to eventually diminish the powercell. These are factors, not of skill but of knowledge. Another one would be a skilled tutaminis user using a combination of their hand and grip. They drain your blade and their own but channel the energy into their saber for a shunted blade which will store energy to increase the intensity for several seconds. In a fight being able to use it to melt or burn the hand of an opponent is vital."

She said it and adjusted the saber itself as she shifted the crystal and the sickle vanished but the blade started releasing smaller thread thin tedrils from it to hang down. "An Ermi Gem can also change things as it releases small tendrils of the saber while can be used to bypass defenses." She withdrew her blade while moving back. "Yourr defense can be solid but it is the exotic variables that have been attracting some without going into the ones who try and infuse the force itself into the sabers to create effects." She said it but remained there in the center as she deactivated the saber and spoke. "The next part, the moving meditation is a state of mind and body. An disconnect in some ways but also could be seen as one of the purest extensions of a jedis trust in the force."

She said it while she was standing there and didn't need to move. SMaller drones coming out as they came after her and the movement was different. Her head gaze in the force never leaving Victor as her body moved. The flicker of a delay between thought and action slowly becoming barely noticeable while she moved her body without the thoughts of her mind altering... remaining within a meditation until the drones shut down and she slowly drew herself out of the meditation. "I am not certain what is felt, some have described it as a void, an absence of conscious thought as your mind clears and stills itself to the point where your body reacts with the currents of the force. Working on heightened force instincts. The ability to do actions requires muscle memory which needs training into the body overr years."
