The embrace of pain is sweet (Evelynn)

DEEP SPACE:

The blade of the coufee drew a long deep line diagonally across the chest of the thing the was Shimmra Rapuung. It's black eyes widened with pleasure as the black viscous liquid that was it's blood began to bead along the thin line and then stream from the wound. He drew the knife across his tongue as his insect like mouth spread it's mandibles. The shaping process was a painful one but the mouthparts were a great blessing and the pain had been purifying. The vong covered a hand in the black blood of his chest and placed it firmly on his mask marking it with the black hand print. Soon he would again hunt and fight and kill. His slayer-ship pulled itself through space toward a planet he had heard of and a place with victims to satiate his hunger for the kill. Little did he know on this world there were those with whom to contend.

------------------------

RATTATAK ATMOSPHERE

The Yuuzhan Vong ship broke the atmosphere heading for a band of hunters surrounding a large predatorial beast Shimmra didn't know.

<Fire> Shimmra said not wanting to deal with the creature while he could kill sentient beings.

The ship's yaret-kor fired the lava like projectile and killed the beast as well as some of the hunters. Wasting no time Shimmra turned to the gunner and quickly ran his knife along the Vongs throat. He had indicated the beast only and he would accept no failure.

Without a word he turned his thick black braids slapping against the crab shell armor he now wore as he made his way to the drop pod. He entered the boilogical pod and activated it while his ship turned and headed back toward space. They would not return unless called and if he fell they would leave.

The pod struck the vround behind the angry band and the organic door slid open with a wet shlick sound and Shimmra leapt out. His Amphistaff spun and pierced the first warrior's chest and his coufee flew from his other hand to lodge in the next warriors skull.

Minutes later Shimmra stood among the corpses of 5 trained hunters and wrapped his staff around his waist. He bent down to yank his coufee free and began taking trophies from the kills and only their skulls would do.

(I'm saying you landed near the palace :) )
Nemene sat on her throne when one of her Sirens broke into the room. The permanently silent girl flashed quick fingers at the Queen of Rattatak causing Nemene's eyebrows to shoot up in shock and annoyance. She frowned slightly, cocking her head to the side and speaking out loud.

“Five? My, apparently someone is quite eager to show what they're made of.” She let out a sigh, and then stood from her throne. She stepped down from the dais with quick motions, calling to the Siren to get her armor and alert her sister. Within minutes Nemene was covered in leather, tightly formed and fitted to her specific shape. She smiled slightly as she stretched, securing her Saber-staff onto her belt and walking out of the Throne room towards the courtyard.

Apparently there was an intruder there, someone who had killed five of her gladiators, five of her slaves!

Whoever it was had a death wish, and Nemene intended on granting it.

“Sister.” Nemene said as she met Evelynn in the halls on her way to the main balcony overlooking the courtyard where the murderer was likely still located. Her steps were quickly paced, and the Beast Tamer would have to work hard to keep up. “We really must keep a tighter watch on our palace. Incursions like these are quite the annoyance.”

The last was spoken as the exited the palace's main doors. Both the women wandered over to the balconies railing, looking down into the courtyard and spotting the warriors below.

Nemene grinned, instantly recognizing the armor. “Hello.”

Alerted much in the same vein as her sister was, Evelynn joined Nemene as they hurriedly made their way to confront such a brash intruder, the fragile blonde stumbled slightly as she followed the raven-haired woman's furious pace. She remained in her plainer silks, not being the kind of fighter that would do well being over-encumbered by armour.

Five gladiators. A pity the intruder hadn't pulled off that feat in The Pit, where they could at least profit from it.

Upon making their balcony entrance, Evelynn peered down with mild displeasure lacing her features, watching the brute claim his grim trophies. What a bother, she had the slaves run a bath for her and now her own personal relaxation was going to be put on hold.

Merisi.

A piercing cry filled the skies above as the large valrain came swooping down towards her Master with Evelynn in response outstretching her own right arm to allow the bird to perch. Despite the delicate clothing that adorned her flesh the creature was gentle, it's ferocious claws bringing no harm to her or her silks.

Unable to communicate with Force dead creatures, the Silent Sister merely stood stiff, granting the intruder her most venomous stare.

The thing called Shimmra faced the life forms that now appeared. His amphistaff held like a long spear in his right hand as he met their eyes from behind his mask. They perhaps were attractive for their own people but to the Shimmra thing they were grotesque. They had no eyesacks, their skin looked thin and smooth and they eeminded him of little human girls.

His coufee dripped blood and visceral fluids as he shook it once and slid it into it's organic sheath. He said nothing as he waited for them. His eyes only leaving them breifly as he saw the bird land on the one stick figure woman.

A feral grin parted the Shimmra things lips behind his mask. Their skulls would look perfect on his wall.

Nemene stared at the masked Vong for a few seconds, her head cocked as it held out its amphistaff like a spear. Unique weapons, those things. She thought for a second about how she would have loved to own one. She would have to remind herself about getting one, though of course the difficult one was getting the creatures to obey you, they were...temperamental.

Lightly Nemene shrugged, returning her attention to the alien below them.

She rolled her soldier for a second, gathering power in the palm of her left hand. A spark of Red Lightning ran down her arm, singing silk. She raised her hand, and then let the power go.

A single powerful spark of Force Lightning jumped towards the Vong, aiming to kill him in one simple strike.

Take it slow.

Evelynn departed from the balcony, stepping back into the comforts of the palace. What? Was she bored? Was this action and excitement not enough for her? Was she not thirsting for the blood of he who was so bold? Well yes, actually, she was but this was also a perfect time to practise her own techniques.

Inside the hall, the Silent Sister sat upon the ground. Her standard cross-legged posture for what was to come. Merisi still sat upon her arm as she began to channel her essence into the mind of her feathered companion. It was easier with the Valrain, being that she was one of the creatures she had bonded with. Evelynn was welcome here.

As Nemene's own brand of lightning spewed forth from her fingers there was another screech, as the bird came shooting forth from out the balcony and into the skies above the intruder.

Evelynn the Valrain circled above, not wishing to get caught by friendly fire and waiting to make her move.

The huge walking target that was the Shimmra thing dove to the left and rolled across the ground. His black eyes stared at the woman. His hate filled heart craved more blood and hers he thought would do nicely.

He raised an arm of his own and the fire spitter that had replaced the bones of his left forearm sprayed a ball of flameing hemicals at the dark haired woman.

The brute lumbered off into a roll, avoiding the devastating touch of her sister's lightning, probably for the best, there were not many that would be left standing after a dose of that. Naturally this meant that Nemene had become the Vong's focal point, to be expected really, you prance about throwing force lightning then you're going to draw all of the aggro.

All the better for the beast that soared above.

As their enemy returned fire in the direction of Nemene the Valrain plunged, diving down at a ferocious speed, talons bared and glaring. Those claws were seeking flesh, seeking to gouge the other creature's eyes out.

As the bird of prey swooped down towards the Yuuzhan Vong Nemene set about not being burned alive. Before the heat of the flames could even touch her Nemene dashed forward jumping over the balcony and immediately falling to the palace grounds.

She hit the hard limestone with a soft thud drawing the saber-staff from her waist as soon as she righted herself.

The two blades sprang to life with a twirl of the saber, the soft thrum droning on as Nemene dashed forward again. She followed up the Valrains attack, aiming a quick slash of her lightsaber towards the Yuuzhan Vong's armpit, a place where she knew the unique crab armor was weak.
