The Duel of the Days

Tatooine
12:45 Local Time

Tatooine was probably one of the most desolate worlds in the galaxy, it was like an ocean of sand that never ended. You could walk for days and see nothing but sand, the small pockets of civilization were so far apart that they might as well not even be there, your chances of finding one were next to zero. It was almost as if somebody came up and removed all the water from a planet, leaving nothing but sandy wasteland with very little in the way of actual life roaming its surface. However some people preferred to live out here, whether by choice or by necessity, because as things would have it it was one of the best places in the galaxy to disappear, this is exactly why Alyson was here. She was hunting a Sith, an apprentice as far as she could tell, but a Sith none the less. This sith had a sizable bounty on his head but that was not the reason Alyson wanted him dead. He was responsible for numerous attacks on Sovereignty trade vessels, or at least, that is what her intel said. So here she was, combing the desert for this Sith, following his force signature like a bloodhound.

The desert sun beat down like a torch on her, she used the force to control her body temperature and help continue to exert herself despite the heat. A normal person would have passed out from exhaustion and probably died by this point, but the force sustained her through the heat and the dry air. She needed less water, less food, less everything, she let the force sustain her. She had trekked for many miles on foot in order to lower her technological footprint. This was also a pilgrimage of sorts, the pain would help her strengthen her mind against the dark side, the last thing she wanted to do was have to fall to the dark side like her former comrades. She was the last Dominion Jedi and she wanted to keep it that way. She remembered clearly all of the friends she had lost to the dark side of the force, she saw what that did to them, she could not allow those things to happen to herself.

Her force senses had been attuned by almost a decade spent in deep meditation, even outside of that deep meditative state, her ability to track and sense in the force was greatly above average, she could sense any form of life for a very long ways, and that wasn't even the macroscopic kind. She was aware of everything from microbes to birds around her, and when she really focused, that is when things got really interesting. However that was unnecessary at the moment, this was an awakened force user, and it sure stood out like a sore thumb. The dark side stood out strongly over the normal background of the force, which under normal circumstances was either neutral or light side leaning, against these backdrops a dark sider stood out like a spotlight. She was getting close, that much she could tell.

However there was another force signiature that stood out, however it did not seem to skew light or dark side, that was the presence of [member="Pravus"]. He was surely aware of his force sensitivity, the force coursed through him like it did all awakened force sensitives, she had no idea who this person was, or what he was there for, but he certainly had a reason for being on such a desolate rock. Everyone on this planet had a reason to be there, whether it was that they wanted to disappear, or that they had no other choice but to be there, due to their involuntary servitude or some other factor, there was not a person on Tatooine who was just there for simply no reason, there was no reason to be there. Unless you liked sand of course, but who likes that?

She felt that she was almost certainly getting closer to her target, the dark sider was near [member="Tion Madon"], she had never heard of him before he started showing up in intel reports, but she knew for certain that this man was very dangerous. Whoever he was it was almost certain he was aware of her presence, she was not being subtle with her force based tracking, she did not care about subtlety, she wanted to find this man and put a stop to his atrocities before more people could be hurt by this maniac of a man. There were many rumors about this monster of a man, some of them true others not, all of it was equally awful. There were unverified reports of crucifixion, hanging, among other cruel punishments. It was time that somebody put a stop to him, once and for all.

Another savage felled by his blade, oh how Tion loved his work. He hated these Tuskens with a burning passion, one had ruined his prestige, and so he took his revenge on his people. He had taken numerous trophies from the barbarians, ranging from a Chieftain's Cycler rifle to some bantha hide. Killing Tusken, oddly enough, seemed to be the only thing that kept Tion sane, and he relished in it. He'd often give Raid Leaders and Chieftains some of the most, slow, painful deaths he could imagine. Their shrieks became music to his ears, but it seemed like some lightsiders were going to crash his party!

Tion paused, he felt a disturbance, two force signatures, o- suddenly, Tion heard a faint groaning coming from nearby, the signatures faded away, and he sighed. He followed the groaning into a decimated tent, and there he found a Tusken Warrior, crawling towards his Gaderffi stick. Tion chuckled and used the force to pull the stick into his hands. The Tusken looked up, his expression covered by his ragged mask, the barbarian held out its hands and backed away from Tion, as if it were surrendering. Tion chuckled again, and wipped the stick across the Tusken's mask, tearing off a bit of the mask. Tion raised the stick over his head and smashed it back down again, then again, and then again. Once the Tusken finally stopped screaming Tion dropped the stick onto the warrior's limp body and walked outside.

The presence was much closer now, it was the presences of a filthy lightsider! He loaded his Cycler rifle and gazed into the scope, making out the figure of a woman. He fired off a single shot before running around the camp, trying to find a good perch on the hill which the camp was located. Once he found a suitable spot, he fired another shot at the figure, but his focus was drawn to something else... Another presence, blast it all.

Having no master anymore to teach Pravus, he thought to himself he would rank himself up on his own. However this task would not be easy as it was said in the old republic ways, A padawan had to destroy a sith in order to rank up to knight. This was the only way in this new age to still do it on his own as there was no other way seen to him. Challenging a sith would be very tough but worth it if he survived.

Getting his light sabers prepared Pravus waited in the sunset. He thought he was along only to focus on his one on one duel with the powerful sith. However he felt another power force person, a female she was viewing me from her point. Pravus didn't want any distractions as this Sith was his for the taking or there would be no other way to gain what he needed.

He felt the sith coming, fast. Pravus got his sabers ready. This woman was probably sent by the order on a mission to finish this sith. Ah now what, Pravus was ready at all costs.

As she came up on the location of the force signature, she eventually it became clear that wherever this monster of a man was, he had just burnt it to the ground. She picked up her pace, running towards the burning villiage. She felt the other presence getting nearer as well, soon he would be upon them. As she climbed the hill her danger sense went off. She quickly rolled out of the way narrowly dodging a cycler rifle shot. It kicked up the sand next to her, however she would not let these pot shots stop her. She used the force to enhance her pace up the hill, running faster than a normal human ever could. Her highly attuned force senses once again alerted her to danger, rolling to the side to escape the shot.

Soon she had made it to the top of the hill, using her senses to help gauge where the darksider was. Making her way through the villiage. She had her senses locked onto the darksider, he seemed to be making his way towards the hill behind the villiage, he was trying to get a vantage point. Alyson moved quickly and used the force to pull his legs out from under him. Then she ran up the hill towards him, igniting her blade and attempting to to use her superior velocity to run the blade over him before he had a chance to get up, severing him in two. She then slowed down by sliding, before turning around to defend against any possible counter strike.

The other force presence was somewhere nearby, he was probably waiting for the opportune time to strike. His motives were not clear but she knew one thing, he was on his way there, and he had a reason. Whether his target was the sith or her was unknown, but he would be an important factor in this fight, that much she could tell.

Tion silently cursed to himself as his shots missed, he then put down his rifle and sensed something. It was that same presence, it was clear now, not one of darkness, nor one of light. An interesting combination, although Tion was sure he would prove to be nothing more than prey, like all of the others who challenged him on this rock of a world.

Tion was caught off guard by the sensation of his legs being pulled from up under him, he swiftly dropped his rifle and sent a blast of force lightning at the woman, expecting it to do nothing more than daze her for a few seconds. Summoning his blade to his hand, he ignited the crimson lightsaber, taking a few steps backward. He held his saber in one hand, clearly using his favored form of lightsaber combat, Makashi. "So tell me Jedi, why do you wish to destroy me? I've done nothing more than killing these Tusken Raiders, why, a couple of the local farmers supposedly praise me as a hero." Tion maintained his calm facade as he usually did when facing new opponents, examining the woman's armor and weapon. In truth, he was rather curious as to why this Jedi went through all of this trouble just to reach him, some former inquisitor who hadn't left Tatooine in years. Once he was finished with this annoyance, perhaps he could finally leave this dreaded world, oh the sweet havoc he could reak upon the galaxy, how he dreamed of such a glorious future.

Pravus was in hiding at the moment seeing the two from a distance. He then jumped out igniting his saber. He looked at the powerful sith, "I also do not want any trouble, for I am seeking much more than killing", Pravus told the sith.

He didn't really want to hunt down people and kill as this is why he himself left the Sith Order. Pravus knew both sides, light and dark. Maybe he should try and peave this conflict between the three. He told them both putting his saber a bit down but not too much to where he was open for an attack.

"Maybe we can come to a peaceful transition, I also have no quarrel with anyone here", Pravus told them both.

As Alyson engaged in her attack she was knocked back by force lightning. It was not powerful enough to kill, this was an attack designed to stun. As she was knocked back she rolled behind herself, ladning on her knee, she quickly reignited her blade and stood up, her armor slightly scorched from the energy emerging from the blade. Her breathing became slightly heavier from the physical exertion, but that was quickly quelled with the force.

She listened to the sith, but she could easily sense that the words were hollow. She could feel it in his force aura. His true intentions were as clear as day, there was a mix of pleasure, confusion and anticipation. He reveled in this, the violence, the killing, the destruction, this fueled him, it kept him going. He would not stop if she jsut left him here, he was a villain of the highest order.

"You know as well as I do that this isn't even scratching the surface of the atrocities you have committed. I cannot in my right conscience allow this to continue." She said, holding her blade in starting position for Djem So. Alyson preferred Djem So since it best matched her preferred longsword fighting style. She had trained for years in long-sword fencing, and this was about as close as it got.

However the third presence she had sense finally revealed themselves, igniting their blade and standing between the two. He seemed to be trying to defuse the situation.

"I cannot in my right mind allow this fiend to continue to bring harm to innocents. I don't care how it gets done."

"Well, that turned out good", Pravus ignited his saber jumping towards the sith and jedi. He could not attack the jedi as they were sort of the same. Pravus however pushed the jedi away and took over fighting the sith. Getting cuts to his robe Pravus used his Dunmoch style. It was

heavily used by the dark side yet he could control it to his use. Throwing his saber back and fourth like a boomerang Pravus was giving blows of his own. Avoiding force attacks he jumped out of the way and used force lightning to keep the jedi away as well.
