Strengths:

• High Speed: Due to the Super Charger Component and the Upgraded Thrusters, the Discovery is capable of out classing most fighters or Interceptors.
• Cloaking Device: The Cloaking Device that is built into the Ship allows the vessel to disappear from most scopes, and is very hard to detect.
• Upgraded Sensor Array: The upgrades made to the Long Range Sensor Array allow it to scan a twice the normal range, along with being more accurate in the details of the scan results.

Weaknesses:

• Thin Plating: To allow the Discovery to be faster, the plating for the ship was made to be thinner, allowing it to be lighter. This means that the hull itself is weaker, and has to rely more on the Shields.
• Known Design: ​Although the Scimitar was a rare ship to come by, It wasn't exactly top secret either. The design and internal workings of the ship are most likely well known by now, so any fighter who could hit it would know the precise points to hit that would be the weakest.
  

Description: The Discovery had been discovered by Dopi Bones while he was moving his things from his old Parents house up to the Mountain he purchased and home on the top he constructed. He had sensed a familiar presence inside of a cave that was on the outskirts of the town he grew up in, a presence that reminded him of his Father. When he investigated, he found the Scimitar Star Courier that His Father, Jotan Bones, claimed he had when Dopi was just a child. He never did believe him until now, and decided to have it as a ship for him to use. Of course, the ship had not flown in years, so when Dopi attempted to have it take off from the Cave, nothing happened, so Dopi assumed it was no longer functional. Years pasted after this discovery, and one day when Dopi came back to the same cave as before, he had the ship repaired by the local mechanic who lived in the city, before buying a Pilot Droid to use for it, and took off for the stars, His Father's Ship now cruising through the galaxy once more.

Although it was originally dubbed The Forger, this ship was purposely customized by Jotan, to be used for speed, agility, and exploration. It had a decent amount of its weapons systems removed, and some upgrades to some systems increased its speed, scanner range, and attached a Super Charger Component. The Hyperdrive itself was replaced from a 2.5 Hyperdrive to a 1.6 Hyperdrive, allowing it to travel even faster. To keep it sleek though, the Armor plating would thinned by a third, allowing it to be slightly lighter, but which meant the Shields had to be upgraded to compensate. The Cloaking Device on board was already there, and his Father did nothing to upgrade it, but this existing Device made Jotan realize something about the ship. The design of it was already well known across the Galaxy by know, due to the use of it by Darth Maul and the Empire's Early Days. He chose to paint it with a Grey paint, with a dark red trim, so then at least it had the different looking paint job to make it look unique.
