The Devil Inside (Nickolas Imura)

Aerin sighed, wiping some of the rain from her face as she trudged down the dark Coruscant street. She was drenched, hungry, and exhausted. She barely had enough credits to book passage on a transport. On top of that, Jen had been giving her a massive headache all day. She had nowhere to stay thanks to that witch. After a bit of searching, Aerin managed to find a small sheltered space between two large stacks of crates. She squeezed into it, pulled her knees to her chin, and did her best to sleep.

Taking a grip of the lightsaber hilt that I carried. I placed it back on the belt I had as the black blade popped into nothing. The man I had just killed was one that kidnapped a child and I set the little girl free. The parents paid me to find her as the local police enforcers were stuck with evidence and other crap like that. I took the job on the notion that they would make sure to keep a better check on their child. As the child was starting to run away, I started to run after her. Following her down a whole bunch of alleys and streets, I was searching for her. Trying to find her so I could turn her into her parents.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The little girl ran for her life. Scared of the man with the demon arm as well as the black phantom blade that could make a man lose his life. Running she didn't look back as she tried to find a place to hide. Running she turned a corner and came to see a a woman start to hide in between two large crates. running over as the woman closed her eyes, The little girl Meridith tugged on her arm. "Please help me, A scary man is after me."

Aerin groggily opened her eyes as a little girl pleaded for help. She became a bit more alert. "A scary man? Did he hurt you?" She asked, speaking calmly to sooth her. Jen was paying attention as well. Most likely because this might be another chance for her to kill. Aerin beat her back so she wouldn't get any ideas and stood up, ready to help the child.

I ran after her. turning around another corner, I could feel a force signature. I knew that the child might be in trouble again. Doubling my speed, I ran harder to reach her. I was not going to let this girl get hurt. She might be scared of me, but soon she would learn that I was on her side.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The little girl shook her head as the woman asked if she was hurt. Her getting up caused Meridith to star throwing out what all happened. usual of a five year old child. "He hurt the man who took me, and is running after me. He scary and has a black lightsaber." She rushed forwards and grabbed ahold of the woman and started to tear up as she was scared for her life. Wanting just to go home.

Aerin gave her a little hug, as the girl just barely past her waist in terms of height. "Hey, it'll be fine. I'm here now. I'll make sure no one hurts you, okay?" She said. Patting the girl reassuringly on the head, Aerin sensed someone coming. Judging by the Force signature it must've been the man the girl was so afraid of. Aerin slid the girl behind her back and got into a defensive stance, ready to activate her lightsaber at any moment.

Running around the last corner, I came to pull out my lightsaber hilt, Rounding the corner, I saw a woman, hard to see her face in the rain as I activated my black bladed lightsaber I used the force to increase my speed to become a blur as I rushed the woman who had what looked to be a lightsaber in her hand, and another holding the child back from me. Rushing forward, I slashed down followed by an uppercut. I would have done a force push, but I didn't want to injure the child. I held back to protect her from any harm that would come out of the two of us fighting.

---------------------------------------------------------
The little girl clung to the shirt of the woman as she pulled something from her side, almost on cue the man came around the corner. His eyes seemingly almost lit up by the little light that was there in a fiery red. as well as the arm that flashed to be visible from the lightning that flashed to the ground. she curled up behind the woman's leg, hoping to avoid the confrontation.

Aerin ignited the sky blue blade just before the man's saber could injure her. She deflected his attacks and locked blades with him just above her head. Her saber illuminated both of their faces. Her eyes widened as she saw who the attacker was. "Nickolas?" she said, surprised.

Our blades clashed. the Black against the blue. Taking a good look as my name was called out, I could see Aerin's face. I stopped my attack and turned off my saber. "What the hell are you doing? I'm trying to catch this girl to take her to her parents." I put the lightsaber on my belt even as the little girl was holding onto Aerin, I took off my vest jacket and handed it to the little girl as I leaned down to keep her dry from the rain. "I won't hurt you. You parents asked me to get you back home."

Aerin put her saber back in her jacket pocket and placed both hands on her hips as Nick tried to comfort the girl. "What do you mean 'What the Hell are you doing'?! She came to me, scared for her life, saying a monster was coming to get her! I was protecting her. Besides, if you didn't want her to run away, you should've told her you were a friend BEFORE she took off!" She said arguingly. In reality, she was extremely thrilled to see him again. This just happened to be the way she expressed that joy at the time. It was confusing for her, but nevertheless, it was the truth.

Damn was this woman argumentative. Sadly I knew that this argue side was not Jen so I knew it was the Aerin side of her. As the little girl took my vest and wrapped it around her body, I then stood up and looked at her shaking my head. "Kind of hard to do that when the guy who took her is yelling at me that he will kill her. And not to mention my arm." Both of us knew about my arm and its rather demonic looking nature. Adults were scared of it in some cases. So a child would be not out of the question. As much as I wanted to just throw Aerin off to the side, it was nice to see her. Last time we were there, I forced Jen to fall into a slumber for a while. So I doubt she was happy to see me.

I looked around, and then grabbed the little girls hand, while speaking to both of them, however in a more soothing voice for the child. "We should get out of the rain so you don't get cold, and get you home." Seeing as how I wanted to make it up to her, I thought it would be nice to take the little girl to someplace to eat, and maybe I could talk to Aerin as the little girl trusted her over me.

Aerin crossed her arms, but said nothing more. Instead, a smile crept onto her face. She followed Nick and the girl into a little diner a few blocks away. Sliding into the booth next to the girl and across from him, she studied the menu. She couldn't get anything that would be very filling because of her need to save credits. Just a warm beverage was enough. She was still cold and wet. She decided on a small mug of hot cocoa and waited for the waitress. Looking up from the menu, Aerin's eyes rested on Nick. "So how's the ship? I hope you've been taking good care of it. Those things don't come cheap, you know." She said, smiling a little.

I looked to Aerin as she sat down. Waiting for the waitress, I pointed out different kids drinks for the little girl Meridith when I looked up to the woman sitting across from me. I smiled as she looked at me when she had sat down the menu. I then looked back to the child and helped her pick out a small meal. When the waitress came, I looked and ordered just a water since I was not hungry and I gave the order for the girl. looking to Aerin, I nodded at the menu, "Pick something A. I'm buying."

[member="Aerin Summers"],

Aerin ordered the cocoa, as she'd planned. When Nick smiled back at her, a flare of anger came to her mind. "So the little Demon boy's back. Good. I was almost afraid I wouldn't get the chance to kill him." Jen hissed in her head. Aerin clenched her fists under the table. "You're not gonna touch him, Jen. You hear me? It's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN." Aerin retorted. As this little argument went on in her brain, Aerin smiled. "A? That's a new one."
[member="Nickolas Imura"]

Still Aerin chose to buy only a single drink. I nodded my head as the waitress walked off. When A started to comment about calling her that was a new one. I shrugged my shoulder. Elbowing the little girl next to me, "You hear that? She things the name A is new." The little girl smiled as she watched between the two of us. I looked back to Aerin. I could see her arms shake somewhat almost in anger, already I knew that Jen was talking, instead I chose to speak only to Aerin, "I guess it is. Unless there is something else you want me to call you demon girl." making a slight joke about Jen as well as my own demonic look.

[member="Aerin Summers"],

Aerin laughed a little, a very tiny blush forming on her cheeks. "Honestly? You're laughing at that? Ugh. You're so naive. Can you not see that your feelings toward him only go one way? Will you laugh when he tells you what a good 'friend' you are?" Jen said, a smirk evident in her voice. "What are you talking about? My 'feelings' toward him? Ha! If anyone here's the naive one, it's you. Or has your lust for vengeance blinded you from your deeply hidden crush on him?" Aerin snapped. Jen let out an annoyed growl and said nothing else. Aerin smiled a bit wider. For once, she'd actually gotten Jen to stop talking! "Well then, I guess I'll have to give you a name. How about... N?" She joked.
[member="Nickolas Imura"]

Her small laugh made me smile brighter, but then her eyes showed that something else was going on. Jen is what was happening. I was so close and tempted to enter Aerins mind again and punch Jen's lights out so just her and I could talk. Looking to the little girl as she was eating her sandwich, I could hear Aerin say something about calling me "N" I shook my head with a smile. "N is not a very good name. It's bland." I then took a second to think and then continued. "You have to give a name a little bit of pazazz!" Raising my arms, I performed jazz hands as I spoke. making emphasis on the part about being pazazz.

[member="Aerin Summers"]

Aerin raised a finger to her chin, faking that she was thinking very hard. "How about... Maggot?" She said. However, it was Jen's red eyes that twinkled menacingly back at him. "Yes, that one definitely has a ring to it. Maggot it is." Her mouth curved into a twisted grin. Aerin was slightly confused for a second. How had Jen gotten through? She'd been blocking her so well up until now. Maybe... she'd lost focus? No, that couldn't be it. She'd been focusing for weeks now. Bur maybe that was the problem. Maybe she'd exhausted herself and her mental barrier weakened. Yes. That was probably it. All she needed was to rest and she'd be back in control. But until then, she couldn't do anything but watch the world through Jen's eyes.

(Could have just tagged me again in your other post in an edit? Lol)

Looking to her, I had no clue on why she called me a Maggot. Then I looked at her eyes. And oh were they filled with hatred. I smiled calmly, shaking my head that this was not the best time. "we have a youngling in our presence. So if you do not mind, return to your little cave and allow me to talk to Aerin, or I will send you on another trip to hell."

I had my hand on my ligtsaber hilt for a second, and turned the dial on the side to be that of a training saber. Should Jen attack me, I didn't want to face the fact of ruining her body in my protection. "now choose before I do it for you."

[member="Aerin Summers"],

Jen's grin remained. "Oh, I'm afraid that can't happen at the moment. You see, little Aery's very tired from keeping me down for all those weeks. She's more exhausted than she seems, you know. Because of that, she doesn't have enough strength to worry about me right now. So all I had to do was step up to the plate. Oh, and if you think that little mind trick of yours will get rid of me, you'd be wrong. I Don't get blind-sided twice. If you try to use it again, all I have to do is take a mental side-step, and your attack will hit Aerin directly. Either way, I win. I'm sorry to disappoint you, darling Nickolas, but you're stuck with me for now."
