OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: Submission of a unique location that was affected in RP
- Canon: Imperial bioweapons project I71A
- Links: First Order: All Hallow's Eve [First Order Dominion of Red Nebula and Gehenna], Blackwing Virus [Dominion of Mephout and Seoul]
- City Name: Previously: Mephout City, Dubbed The Dead City
- Classification: City
- Location: Mephout
- Affiliation: The First Order [Special Forces]
- Demographics: 99% Blackwing Infected Population, 1% First Order Military Population
- Wealth: Non-existent.
- Stability: Non-existent. To be alone outside in the Dead City is surely to mean death, large teams that deploy often take heavy casualties, while small teams tend to not return at all.
- Description: From an aerial view of the City, it is evident that the city is dead and had been for some time. When the military first touched ground on the planet, it had appeared to be any other city, the only missing factors to make it such was the lack of organic life. Post-Op of the Graush venture, the previously untouched city appeared to have been subjected to all kinds of bombings and life ending weaponry.
- Graush Blacksite: Close to the centre of the city, this blacksite was the first base that came into existence when the Colonel had been promoted into Central Command. Originally ran BY House Graush's own troopers, when the first war with the Alliance began, the blacksite truly came into play, some of the most notable units being rotated through the Dead City on 'training' exercises. Occupying roughly a square kilometre of land on the surface, hundreds, if not thousands of troopers are cycling through active-duty to off-duty, the latter tending to be asleep.
Military Science Laboratory: Despite a relatively high amount of beings being present in the blacksite, only a handful know of its true purpose. Where white stormtroopers enter, from time to time familiar comrades are carted off onto ships, escorted by the lethal and merciless beings that are Death Troopers.
[*]Underground Weapons Cache and Bunker: The first attempt at a hidden base in the city, within a handful of days the first incursion onto the planet had been overwhelmed, thus instigating a changing of location to a less 'populated' area.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The planet's capital city, Mephout City, constructed by its own inhabitants more than a millennia before the First Order ever visited the planet, it was originally discovered by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War, and on account of the Gulag Plague, not much more is known of the planet, other than many species immigrated to the planet and Mephout City had become the largest metropolis on the planet, and was the only notable construct detected by the First Order Navy when tracking the Blackwing to the Mephout System.
A'sharad Graush, the White Wolves, and some notable troopers were present on the planet, but since being chased off of the planet, once achieving a high enough status to secretly establish a military base on the planet, the reckless nature of the Sith Lord in Central Command became much more noticed, hundreds of troopers being sacrificed and lost in order to establish a military garrison within the city. However, the first attempt had netted failure, an entire battalion of stormtroopers wiped out within seventy-two hours. Their existence only lasted long enough to refurbish defensible storefront and it's basement into a weapons cache, only to be overrun soon after. The effort to establish a garrison on the planet continued however, and when General Graush went from the bottom of Central Command to the top and became Supreme Commander, he revisited the planet again.
The second time with true veterans of war, the White Wolves, his own sworn Sith Warriors, and the beginnings of the Forsworn Legion, coupled with some carpet bombings of surrounding areas, the Sith Lord had finally cleared enough territory in the city to establish a base of operations. Using the destruction and ruined structures as a start, additional equipment and the establishment of a walled base had begun.
By the time the armistice had been signed by the First Order and the Galactic Alliance, and broken again at the coordinates of L-49, the blacksite was completed, and its existence, along with its location on Mephout was unknown. It's true purpose even less so, though, some speculated, and those few soon found themselves no longer in a position to do so.
