The Dead Are Never Forgotten

She was never one to give into the belief of mysteries or rumours or hearsay, but the opportunity to obtain an ancient ring that once took residence on the finger of Darth Traya was something she couldn't overlook. She had studied the teachings of the long dead Sith Lady, almost mirroring herself to her. She had sympathized with her beliefs. She had cursed her passing. She almost worshiped the former Sith Lady like a Goddess.
So she stood in near regret of killing the Captain of her warship, Meshuga, when he dared to challenge her orders for them to set a course for Dantooine. The infidel only saw advancement and failed to see the bigger picture. It was a shame, he was loyal to her up to the pointe where he stood between her and said ring. She had broken one of her own rules about killing but she would deal with her own bad decision later. For now Dantooine was thier destination.
"Captain Moxil....do you disagree with our change of course," she said to the newly appointed Captain of Meshuga.
Captain Moxil watched as the dead body of his predecessor was hauled of by two of the Sith Lady's personal guardsmen, Nightshade Company, and fought back a deep swallow of his pride.
"No mi'lady," he answered before adding, "Nav Officer set a course for the planet of Dantooine."
Darth Venefica flashed the new Captain a smile, then turned her gaze to the viewport in time to witness the blue and white lines of hyperspace flash by.

She stepped off the shuttle leading five (5) of her personal guardsmen to the surface of Dantooine. In truth, she had no idea where to begin looking for the ring and hoped it was not some rumour that could wind up wasting her time. Her time was precious! They were greeted by a port security officer claiming they need to pay the docking fee for keeping their shuttle here while they visited the planet and the various outposts. She paid the fee and gestured the officer away.
The first spot they would check for information was the Argo Outpost. The outpost was known to be a frequent haunt for pirates, smugglers, and other less savory individuals, but if she was to find a lead for this artifact then that would be her best option for now. She gave orders to her men to stay alert, trouble always surrounded these types of people they would be dealing with.
Inside the outpost, the scene was borderline shameful. Odor of every kind was represented here, dirty faces and bodies seemed to be the latest fashion, and the whole outpost appeared to have seen better days. She ignored the stares she and her men where receiving and entered the cantina first. Broken chairs laid in one corner, a result of bar fights she assumed, and cracked and wobbly tables littered the establishment while drunks, future drunks, and passed-out drunks clung to the tables as if they were some magical item worth credits of a high magnitude.
The bartender, a portly male human with a patch over his left eye and a few scars decorating his face, looked the Sith Lady up and down; then did the same to her men. She could sense he was worried about their presence here inside the cantina.
"Look lady, we don't need any trouble here," he said trying to keep his voice from from quivering.
"The only trouble I bring is what some fool brings to me first," Darth Venefica hissed. "I'm here seeking information about an artifact that has recently been uprooted on Dantooine."
"Ah, another treasure hunter," he replied before flashing her a smile that shown both rotted and broken teeth. "Seems everyone is looking for that artifact. Honestly, I think it's all a ruse to bring people here to spend their credits. But if you are hell bent on looking for it, you need to talk to Jalen Volen down at Cortise. He seems to be the authority in helping you, uhm, treasure hunters."
