Mantic Dorn
Old school...
Mantic moved away from the chair and stepped out into the room. He paced forth and back a while contemplating the situation.
[member="Maya Whitelight"] had asked this of him and it would take much from him to refuse her. But he was unsure if the decision had been made without realizing that Mantic now openly had questioned the jedi order and its recent merge with the Galactic Alliance.
He always tried to stay calm headed and most jedi claimed to be beyond or even above politics. It was a white lie in Mantics eyes. [member="Corvus Raaf"] might have tried to create a neutral jedi order. One that e had chosen to follow. But once she had disappeared that neutrality had been lost. The Silver jedi made clear political support for the worlds close to Ossus and even though neither were actions of evil or darkness he had decided it was to be a hypocrite not to pretend that the jedi did not matter on the political arena. Why would she choose a master, and a rather conservative one, instead of a silver jedi? Mantic felt curious about this.
But regardless here he was to meet a new padawan, one that he considered an honor to teach. She would have to decide on her own.
He turned his head toward the entrance and placed his hands in front of him. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes and waited for the daughter of [member="Maya Whitelight"] to arrive.
