The daughter of the white light

Mantic moved away from the chair and stepped out into the room. He paced forth and back a while contemplating the situation.

[member="Maya Whitelight"] had asked this of him and it would take much from him to refuse her. But he was unsure if the decision had been made without realizing that Mantic now openly had questioned the jedi order and its recent merge with the Galactic Alliance.
He always tried to stay calm headed and most jedi claimed to be beyond or even above politics. It was a white lie in Mantics eyes. [member="Corvus Raaf"] might have tried to create a neutral jedi order. One that e had chosen to follow. But once she had disappeared that neutrality had been lost. The Silver jedi made clear political support for the worlds close to Ossus and even though neither were actions of evil or darkness he had decided it was to be a hypocrite not to pretend that the jedi did not matter on the political arena. Why would she choose a master, and a rather conservative one, instead of a silver jedi? Mantic felt curious about this.
But regardless here he was to meet a new padawan, one that he considered an honor to teach. She would have to decide on her own.

He turned his head toward the entrance and placed his hands in front of him. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes and waited for the daughter of [member="Maya Whitelight"] to arrive.

[member="Freyia Whitelight"]

Why couldn't she just have the life she wanted that was to be in the archives in her books only why did she have to go out to met one that would teach her more then her mother could teach her. Couldn't she just make time after all she was her daughter. Then there was her twin brother also, that was that he was on a different path one that didn't want no part of. Always fighting with his saber wanting more then to be the weapon master as their father had once be. For her she had her book knowledge that wasn't all that was going for her.

Even so she would give this a try as she let her emotion be in cheek before she enter the room that her Master was waiting for her to teach his knowledge to after all it wasn't as if she was a youngling in more. As she did enter into the pace she couldn't help but be shy as she saw him waiting for her knowing that she was keeping him from them to begin.

Slowing walking up to [member="Mantic Dorn"] as she did she couldn't bring herself to look up at him call it her lack of being around people. Then again others can say what they well she stood there looking at him for some time before she spoke. "Master Dorn, I hope." as if she was a bit doubtful herself. as if she was even in the right place.

Mantic looked at the young woman approaching. He could feel her presence in the force and the resemblance with his own old tutor and friend washed over him. Hecould not help but feel a bit astounded.

[member="Freyia Whitelight"] seemed shy and was careful. Perhaps she was not here out of her own will but rather of her mother. It would not be the first time for Mantic to take on a hesitant student however and while still a novice the power in her was clearly strong. She was the child of a jedi master and her blood carried that legacy.

"I am Jedi Master Mantic Dorn," he spoke after a brief moment and offered a short bow as custom provided.

"And you miss Whitelight, seek to become a jedi, yes?"
