Description:
The Ship that was to become the Crimson Wraith is wholly unremarkable when compared to the hundreds of different unique and powerful vessels that now exist in the Galaxy, in fact compared to certain One Sith Starships like the Dark Blade Dreadnoughts the Crimson Wraith is downright obsolete. However due to the time she has spent with the ship, and due to the history attached to the vessel Mierin has become quite fond of the vessel and thus has kept it within her service instead of upgrading to something more current.
The ship was one born of the Former Sith Empire's fleet which went into hiding after the defeat of the Darth Krayt. This vessel along with several dozen other ships of the One Sith's fleet went into the fringes of known space, hiding under the order of the New Dark Lord, Darth Nihl.
It stayed there for several dozen years, barely being maintained and looked after by what became a skeleton crew. It stayed there for some time, eventually falling somewhat into disrepair until eventually The current Dark Lord of the Sith took control. It was he who found the funds through subterfuge and manipulation to once again begin the repair of his fleet. When the fleet was reconstructed by the fledgling Titan Industries the Crimson Wraith was one of the first vessels to be retrofitted with new weapons and shield designs.
This was due to the vessel being chosen by the Dark Lord first Hand, Darth Mierin. She founded the aesthetic design of the Palleon-Class to be more pleasing than that of the Dragon ships, or indeed even the far more common Imperial Class Star Destroyers. She chose this vessel, and decided to take the ship as her personal vessel.
The Crimson Wraith as she was dubbed became Darth Mierins personal flagship. The ship is no different than any other Palleon-Class Star Destroyer except for one big exception. Much like its 'owner' the Crimson Wraith is painted a stark contrasting red. Though this takes away all subtlety from the ship it is an important symbolism that Mierin demanded when the ship was retrofitted to current galactic standards.
As of late Mierin had the Crimson Wraith Upgraded to fit the standards of the Dark Blades and beyond, making it one of the most powerful ships in the galaxy.
