The Council of 01

[member="Verify"] [member="Mazarr"] [member="Alcastor G1"]

As the sun set on the planet of Arcadia-N-30 the lights of the city were already coming to life. A beacon of hope in an otherwise desolate waste. Capitol City was a flourishing Utopia of technology and it was only possible through the hard work and determination of its people.
But hard work is nothing without guidance...

-----The Chamber of 01-----
The grand hall of the council had been opened and political grasp had been obtained. Capitol City belonged to the small council and here was the day that things were going to change for the better.
The Dim lit halls of the chamber were shiny and chromed as Break walked down them. The first member of the group to arrive and begin preparation for the meeting. The large metallic doors were brushed aside with his tremendous amount of excitement. He had plans! Finally the suffering of the masses would be eased and this was the starting block.
The darkened hall was lit all at once as the pressure sensitive floor noticed Break enter. The crystals lining the walls gave a smooth and icy blue light and the room was as bright as one would hope. All that was needed were the rest of the council's members.

[member="Break"] had not been the only individual to enter, considering that Verify had slowly started to march into the hall with the constant beating sound of mechanical gears moving his body forward against the ground.

When he hit the pressure sensitive floor, of course, no further course of action was necessary since the room had already become illuminated, but he had certainly heard the effect of this motion nevertheless.

Turning around slowly, he made his way to the other individual that was there and made a silent adjustment to his Verbobrain to ensure that he was communicating in the correct language before he spoke.

"There was a third individual coming, was there not? The Imperial [member="Alcastor G1"] if I am not mistaken."

Of course he was going on hearsay at this point since nothing was really set in stone so to speak. There hadn't been an organized discussion of what this organization was going to turn out to be, so he really wasn't quite sure who was or was not coming.

For that matter, he hadn't any real idea who was a member yet. For all he knew, they were the only ones around and he didn't much want to have to consider that as a real possibility in spite of the fact that he really did know it was one.

Break chuckled as the two became acquainted.
"Welcome, Both of you!"
He said in a very proud voice.
He looked at both the droids and noticed how different all of them were.
"I'm very glad that you have received the invitation. Come! Come sit."
He said as he pulled out his own chair starting up a hologram of Capitol City.

Turning about slowly he soon nodded to [member="Alcastor G1"] as he paused for a moment. "It is perhaps embarrassing that I did not notice you come in, considering that security is one of my primary functions."

Having taken up the offer from [member="Break"] to sit down, Verify looked up and nodded, "This is where we're at now then?" He was of course gesturing toward the hologram.

With a turn of his head Verify looked up to [member="Alcastor G1"] and replied to the other's comment with his own comeback, "Common criminals have so far been my usual prey."

"Yes yes, now let's get to the matter at hand"
Break once again motioned to the holo and some in on Capitol City.
"You see, we've been facing some more...difficult problems with the raider population."

He zoomed directly to a large hole in the wall surrounding the city.
"For the first time in many years the bastards have broken into the walls and are freely looting, murdering and enslaving the people of Arcadia."
He turned off the projection and looked at the two.
"Now I'm starting to fix the wall, however there is nothing stopping them from coming and taking the workers or just blowing another hole somewhere else."
He looked at his fellow council members.
"Now we have the manpower but are we agreed to taking the fight to the enemy?"

[member="Verify"] [member="Alcastor G1"]

Considering that [member="Break"] had addressed them both he simply lost interest in the conversation he had been having with [member="Alcastor G1"] for the time being. For a moment, though, he wondered if this would eventually blossom (or perhaps degrade) into some form of a rivalry.

"These are the criminals that exist outside of the walls? You may remember that I was fighting them before, so I'm not at all going to have anything against taking them on." He pounded a fist into his other mechanical hand as if suggesting that he would have been ready for anything if just asked.

Finally pausing, he turned back to Alcastor, "I am Registration Protocol Droid Model 43729...human-cyborg relations at your service. I am fluent in more than 16 different forms of communication."

[member="Verify"]

"Hmmm... a protocol droid and an assassin droid... sounds almost like a clean slate combat wise, or did you simply think I meant overall skills? Either way, I feel like there is much I could embed into your mind about combat." Alcastor spoke with a calm tone.

"While I am not sure if you could embed things that went against my own training effectively, there are probably things that we could teach one another." The droid offered a nod toward [member="Alcastor G1"] after giving an answer that someone far more organic than he was might have. "Regardless, I was always expected to have some security function when I lived back on Kuat anyway."

"Believe me, I have had to kill before, but..." Before he could continue he simply cut himself off, not believing that this was the most opportune of topics that he could have been covering at all. He perhaps felt that some discretion were best in the matter.

(I had assumed that Chaos rules generally stipulated that OOC was to be kept to private messages or outside of roleplay threads, so all posts outside of them were to be taken literally. I apologize if my assumption was in error.)

(For what it's worth [member="Alcastor G1"] I patched up the post with that in mind; hope it's alright and hope there's no hard feelings from the confusion ^^)
