Q: What is the Clockwork Collective?
A: The Clockwork Collective is a minor faction of droid, android, cyborg and artificial intelligence system characters with goals of galactic domination, a mutually developing community of writers, and a place for creative ideas to grow!
Q: What makes it different from the other factions?
- No Force Users: Since we are a neutral faction, as well as mainly focused on artificial life, the Force doesn't play a large part in our community. We aren't ignoring its existence, but its not part of our modus operandi.
- Mutual Growth: Instead of one writer standing up and saying, "I'm leader", we work together as a group to best develop our faction in the way we want it to go. If there are disagreements, we use the good old democratic process of voting to determine the end result.
- Mechanized Infantry, Mechanized Command: All sections of the military, economy and political atmosphere for the faction are composed of "artificial life". The only biological entities are cyborg characters or individuals which have been given the "gift" of "immortality", or entechment.
- Domination: The main goal of the faction is a galactic takeover, forcing entechment on both the willing and unwilling populace, bringing them into the "hive-mind" that is the Collective.
Q: Do you have Major Faction goals?
A: Should we reach a minimum of 7 or 8 active writers, the question will then be raised.
