  • Increased power cell magazine.
  • Automatic power-cell disposal and replacement system.
  • Glowrod attachment on the bottom of the barrel.
STRENGTHS
  • Power of the Winter: The Brumal Dawn utilizes cryogenic freezing technology to create ultra-cold blaster bolts. These blaster bolts, by the nature of their temperature, have the potential to freeze and shatter objects upon impact.
  • High Worth: The Brumal Dawn is a unique weapon and relic from a time long past and has a rare cryogenic function, which means that it is an extremely valuable weapon to own.
WEAKNESSES
  • Bite of the Cold: Due to the constant freezing process of the cryogenic gasses within the Brumal Dawn, a permanent frost of sorts has gathered around the exterior of the weapon, concentrating over the barrel and top of the weapon. A coating of liquid ethylene glycol prevents this frost from encroaching on any essential components and keeps the weapon functional, but gloves are recommended when handling this weapon.
  • Disabling Heat: When extreme -- emphasis on extreme -- heat is applied to the weapon, the cryogenic freezing process can be somewhat or completely sabotaging, rendering the weapon less effective or inoperable until it can be brought down to a safe temperature.
DESCRIPTION
In an age where climate-control technology is so prevalent, where most live in environments that are meticulously tampered with to create an agreeable climate, many have forgotten the primal fear of the cold. The fear of the Winter. The knowledge that, when the winds and ice come, you were not guaranteed to survive until Spring. Clan Kyron was one of the few who lived with the cold. Back in there time, before the age of the Republic and of widespread galactic civilization, their home of Rhen Var was sparsely populated, the largest towns barely reaching a thousand people. Every day was spent fighting back the endless, everlasting winter. Until one day, a gunsmith of Clan Kyron decided that they would no longer fight the cold -- they would weaponize it.

Clan Kyron soon became infamous for their cryogenic weapons, and their dominance quickly spread over the entire sector. No armor, no cloak, and no sword could withstand the power of Winter contained in Clan Kyron's blasters. That was until the Alor of Clan Kyron decided to lay claim to the territory of Clan Eldar. No matter how powerful their weapons were, the superior numbers and might of Clan Eldar fought back the warriors of the winter, until all of Clan Kyron were killed or had fled and assimilated into neighboring Clans. Only the gunsmith, the one who had first unlocked the secrets of the cold, remained. To cement the legacy of his craftsmanship, and of Clan Kyron itself, he crafted the ultimate weapon of the winter: the Brumal Dawn. He stored it away in a vault, protected by defenses of his own design, and left Rhen Var. Whether the Gunsmith led a life of exile, died in Rhen Var's cold, or anonymously joined another clan is still unknown. To this day, Clan Kyron and its fabled weapons of cold is little more than legend.

But even legends have their roots in truth.

The Brumal Dawn is a weapon designed to use advanced cryogenic technology to weaponize cold, not heat as most traditional blasters do. A miniaturized carbon-freezing chamber centered around the given circuitry of the blaster utilizes liquid carbonite to flash-freeze the cryogenic blaster gas of the Dawn. This process creates blaster bolts that are ultra-cold, cold enough to have the capability to instantly freeze and shatter objects or areas upon impact. This freezing process is extremely complicated and creates a heavy amount of extra congelation, vented through the barrel of the blaster to form a permanent frost over much of the Brumal Dawn's exterior. A coating of liquid ethylene glycol prevents this from covering vital components, but if you are ever to wield this weapon, gloves would be recommended lest your hands become frost-bitten.

To this day, the whereabouts of the Brumal Dawn -- and even it's existence -- is disputed by the gunsmiths and forgemasters of the Mandalorians. But, if by chance or by design, one was to obtain this exotic weapon, they would find themselves suddenly with an extremely powerful and unique weapon at their disposal.
