The Bounty Hunter's Creed

No Bounty Is Worth Dying For

No matter how great the bounty is, reward matters not if you die before collecting it. It is in Hunter's responsibility to evaluate the risk of taking up each Bounty, and prepare accordingly. Hunter cannot be forced to go after a bounty, he must choose his target willingly, therefore always choose a target you know you are prepared for.

People Don't Have Bounties, Only Acquisitions Have Bounties

All sentient beings deserve respect, if they abide by Laws and live their life in the light of Justice, then you have no right to hunt them nor treat them worse than you should be treated. However, as soon as one has a Bounty placed on their head, they cease to be a being with rights, they become merely an acquisition. It is your job to collect these acquisitions and bring them to Justice, feel no pity nor mourn them, for they are beings no longer.

Capture By Design, Kill By Necessity

Unless otherwise specified in the terms of the Bounty, always Capture and Kill only in Necessity. Unjust killing is murder, and you are not a Murderer, you are a Hunter.

No Hunter Shall Slay Another Hunter

Never take up arms against your fellow Hunter and attack or kill them. They are your brethren at arms, their profession and dangers they struggle against are similar to yours. However, if they do not follow the Creed, they cannot be protected by the Creed or the Bounty Hunting Guild, should a bounty be placed on a Hunter who broke the Creed even once, then no longer they are considered anything but an acquisition.

No Hunter Shall Interfere With Another's Hunt

Do not interfere in another Hunter's hunt, even if it is to help them, unless they first invite you along or request for your aid. While you can both compete in collecting the same bounty, interfering with one's Hunt causes them to be unable to see just how skilled they are, or which hunter is better if they are already competing against somebody.

In the Hunt One Captures or Kills, Never Both

Once you capture your Bounty alive you cannot kill it. Executing an already subdued being is nothing but a thoughtless slaughter, if evidence of such can be found against a Hunter, they will suffer gross consequences. However, one can kill a captured Bounty if the Bounty is trying to escape.

No Hunter Shall Refuse Aid to Another Hunter

Hunters of the Guild are brethren, if one of us needs aid, we will look after each other and grant aid to the one that requests it, even if that means stopping the Hunt we are currently on to help them in their Hunt. No matter what your opinion of the other Hunter is, or the relations you had in the past, you must grant aid to them if they request it. Of course, in return you can ask for anything in payment, and if they are able to, then they must pay it.
