The Black Prophet's Voodoo Stick

Image Source: Can't find a good pic, like at all.
Intent: To create a menacing new item to a list of Zambrano's horrific features and antics, and to assist him in facilitating his new fondness of Voodoo-esque magicks.
Development Thread: TBD
Manufacturer: Zambrano the Hutt, through Arcane, and occultist methods.
Model: Not applicable
Affiliation: Zambrano the Hutt, the Black Prophet of Balagoth
Modularity: No, can be decorated though (with body parts)
Production: Production: Unique
Material: The severed head of Captain Slika (mouth sewn shut, eyes removed, slightly decomposed), the skeletal remains of an amphistaff filled to the brim with spirit ichor, human skin made into a leather to tie the pieces together and hold spirit ichor as well as sacrificial blood sucked out from the deceased amphistaff's modified fangs, into removable pouches hanging around Captain Slika's decomposing head. To support structural integrity as a staff, human bone was used in its construction.

The only thing missing from the staff, are the highly coveted eyes of Sage Bane.
Description:

Strengths
  • Sacrificial Artifact: Being composed of dead things ritualistically slaughtered for the sole purpose of being weaved together, what isn't force dead exudes a strong presence of the dark side, though this aura is mostly superficial with no advantageous or ill effects.
  • Infused with Spirit Ichor: To counteract the force-deadness of the amphistaff, every bone was bathed and infused with the ichor in order to remain manipulatable with the force, and it enhances its wielder's effectiveness with Magicks.
  • Blood Thief: If one is stabbed with this staff, be weary, for it has taken an ounce of your blood, and placed it within a bag of human skin. Using these sacrificial bags, if you should leave the fight alive without reclaiming your crimson donation, you could be subjected to the unsettling effects of Totem Magic later on... or be tracked down through a blood trail.
  • Resurrectable: Given its entirely organic nature, and its infusion with both spirit ichor (witch rituals) and the dark side of the force (sith rituals), the Black Prophet of Balagoth made temporarily grant the staff and all of its components zombified life. This allows the Black Prophet to use it as a scout, by which he may use as a means to see into the space it inhabits.
Weakness
  • Fragile: As a collection of preserved organic matter, it should be expected that this deadly artifact will not stand up to being blown apart by blasters or slugthrowers, or sliced apart by a lightsaber. With no living power glands, the Amphistaff skeleton offers no protection whatsoever. Additionally, all components are subject to decomposition.
  • Dulls the Force: Given a major component of the staff was originally force dead, utilizing the staff to project the force beyond the rituals of occult magicks ill-advised, as it will at best dilute your utilization of the force, or at worst negate it.

Captain Slika's head has a snug hole drilled through his brain guts so that the skull of the Amphistaff can be forced through the top of his deceased head, to allow it act as a blood sucking spear tip. Surrounding the sacrificed head, are the bags of human flesh which contain spirit ichor, and await the donation of blood from the staff's fangs. The whole thing is bound together by human leather, and structurally supplemented with human bone. What isn't bound by leather, is often sewn together, with entwined human hair and bone needles.

Describe some of the history behind the submission. Give us some idea of how it might perform its function, what it excels against and what some limitations of it are. This is where you talk about your idea, flesh it out over at least a good-sized paragraph, and address some of the ways it might be used or abused. For especially powerful or ambitious submissions, a very thorough description is recommended.

Can someone look at this. I'm not even sure if this is technology, or species, or what.

Also, I'm think I'm going to call it the Black Prophet's Zodou L'ans Staff.

Not sure if these a dev thread, because I'm not sure where Magick falls under.
