Focus on short range weapons gives this carrier a very good standing in short range and versus enemy fighters.

Lacking in long range combat the Besadii carrier will most likely come to a short if its fighters cant take out a equivalent ship that focuses on long range firepower.

The Besadii class heavy hutt carrier is a beautiful jewel in the Hutt Fleet. Meant to bring an armada into the fray.
The besadii class heavy hutt carrier was a joint venture between the Besadii family and the new Hutt Cartel with the Ubrikkian industry as the designer. Rumors also persist that the Toydarians contributed to the construction.
Amounting a wide range of firepower and unyielding protection, the Besadii class heavy hutt carrier is a fleet unto itself and brings both awe and fear to the minds of its enemies.
Like most hutt designs the captains quarter is designed to function as an escape pod if need be. Thus the captain can eject himself carrying a small group of people with him and maintain a fairly comfortable situation even during such distressful situations.
This carriers are capable of decimating enemy fleets on its own and could easily become the back bone of a galactic invasion force. Unfortunately fir the cartel only one of these ships were ever constructed and it is a unique but oh so deadly ship.
As soon as the ship retaken by the new hutt caetel she was named Supreme jewel, pointing out that it carried the will of the Supreme Mogul and was equal to the hutt throne world of Nal Hutta (the glorious jewel) when it comes to importance of the hutt fleet.
Besides carrying over 100 smaller crafts the Besadii class holds a complement of 15 000 cartel Enforcers ready to be deployed at the will of the hutts or to defend the Supreme mogul from boarding parties. She is handled by a crew around 40 000 - equaling the ship to the small town.
With its immense size and huge population many of the crew spend entire lives inside her belly leading their lives as slaves bound to certain tasks or engineers having fallen in love with the grand ship.
The Hutt Cartel takes pride in this monster of a ship and many space faring hutts actually consider it an honor to be part of the ship crew, which is very unusual for the hutt species and their prefered planetary position.
