CORPORATION INFORMATION

 • Corporation Name: Ar’khos Corporate Combine

 • Headquarters: Obulette and Arkania

 • Locations: Tallaani Shipyards, Obulette Shipyards, and the Ar’khos Corporate Combine’s HQ on Arkania (If your corporation is large enough, where else have they set up shop? You're not strictly limited to setting up shop in nearby systems, but you shouldn't be hopscotching around the galaxy either. A Tier 1 company may begin with a max of two locations with little to no development. A Tier 2 company may begin with a max of three locations with little to no development. )

 • Operations: Shipbuilding, R&D | Intentions to expand later.

 • Tier: Tier 2

DESCRIPTION

The Ar’khos Corporate Combine is the company of Ivlyn’s father. It is part of the corporatocracy on Arkania, and has expanded into the Tapani sector as of late. The Ar’khos Corporate Combine controls the Tallaani shipyards and Obulette shipyards, giving them a distinct advantage over some of the more local companies. However, it isn’t really doing what it’s the greatest at. Shipbuilding is part of their goal set, but high technology, biotech and other fields of bioengineering are what Arkanians are best at. That’s why it will see itself expand into more fields in the future. Development of shipbuilding bases, real estate assets, a fleet, and similar things will allow the Combine to fulfill other goals. It isn’t the most influential corporation in the Tapani sector, but is smart at what it does. The company accepts private manufacturing requests, as well as research and development requests from private individuals or organizations, but also works on behalf of the Tapani noble houses and the Galactic Alliance when it comes to Galactic Alliance space. It is essentially loyal to itself. When it comes to whether or not they are seen as benevolent or grinding planets into dust, the Corporate Combine prefers not to completely obliterate places in a short period of time. Besides, that would make them enemies. If you strip mine a populated planet into oblivion, it doesn’t look good for anyone. Any more illicit operations, or ones that border on the edge, are likely to be kept on the more hidden side of things.

RATIONALE

Ivlyn does not own nor control the company. She holds stakes in it, is the daughter of the owner, and works as a scientist for the corporation (something that stretches her even further), and often serves as her father’s envoy and proxy, but she does not have full control nor full ownership of the company. Should her father die, however, and even if Ivlyn has retired from the company when this occurs, Ivlyn will find herself in full control and with a majority stake of the Ar’khos Corporate Combine. As a scientist of the company, she is entitled to a paycheck, and could play a part in the research and development of different products. As an envoy and proxy, she can fulfill different administrative duties, but isn’t the actual owner nor is she in full control of the company.

Are these canon shipyards?
The Tallaani one is. I think it was formerly owned by a now inactive company (I think the person holding it together had their character killed, or something, and it didn't survive), and I wanted to scoop them up since they're nice. I'm making the Obulette shipyard soon, but I have too many things up I think. Aren't I only supposed to have 3 submissions up across both the factory and codex when I need them approved? I have 3 or 4 and I don't wanna do anymore.

if you are claiming a canon company, please follow the guidelines for claiming a canon company, especially if they were formally owned.

Canon Company Information
Due to the timeline, it is assumed most canon companies went south with the declining population of the Galaxy. However, it is the writer's choice in whether or not he wishes to further the future of a Canon Company. In order to properly adopt a canon company, please follow the below rules.

To claim a Canon Company, create your Company submission as per the Company Creation Rules. Ensure you add in the appropriate fields that it is a canon company and link the Wookeepedia page. Please post an announcement in bold at the bottom. "This is a canon company."

Canon Company Guidelines and Rules

1. A writer may only own one Canon Company.

2. Your Canon Company may not own other Canon Companies as subsidiaries unless they are directly referenced in the Wookieepedia as being owned by that Canon Company and each Canon Company Subsidiary must have another character not owned by you labeled as it's CEO/Director and must have their own Company submission.

3. If an active owner of a Canon Company wishes to transfer ownership to another writer who does not currently own a canon company, they must provide evidence of the transfer by the original owner. The new owner must create a new submission of their own for the same Company name. A factory judge presiding will alert a Roleplay Judge, who will then attempt to contact the current active owner. If the Roleplay judge confirms the transfer, Role-play Judge will then alert an Administrator who will then transfer ownership of the canon company and current tier level to the new Canon Company Owner, along with any edits made. The old submission will then be archived.

5. If a Canon Company Owner is absent for more than 30 days, any writer who does not already own a canon company may contest your claim by creating a submission of their own for the same Company name. The Factory Judge presiding will alert a Role-play Judge, who will then attempt to contact the previous Canon Company Owner. If the Role-play Judge fails to contact the previous Canon Company Owner within 72 hours and determines the Canon Company Owner inactive, the Role-play Judge will then alert an Administrator who will then transfer ownership of the canon company along with one level tier drop (may not fall under Tier 3) to the new Canon Company Owner, along with any edits made. The old submission will then be archived.

6. If a canon company owner has been contacted previously with a contesting canon company claim, upon the second inquiry the owner must show themselves to be active in order to keep the canon company. Activity can be demonstrated with a substantial RP thread or 3+ Factory submissions which took place within the 60 days prior to the second inquiry.Activity after the second inquiry will not be taken into consideration.

7. If a writer had their canon company taken away due to inactivity, the writer may create a new original company submission requesting the tier level from their previous canon company submission. In the new submission, please link the archived canon company submission showing all your work and the Tier Level gained. A factory judge presiding will alert a Factory Roleplay Judge, who will then review and confirm the work from the archived canon company submission and the Tier level addendum. Once verified by the RPJ, the new company submission will be approved at the previously worked for canon company tier level along with any edits made.

Okay, sure, I'll do this for a piece of property. Uhh, what exactly do I do? I mean, which one. 7 doesn't really apply, since it was the Herglic Trade Empire (which is canon) that possessed the Tallaani Shipyards. Is it 6? I don't really want to create the Tallaani Shipyards by itself. Basically, I don't see what I'm supposed to do, now. I mean, I am apping now, which is essentially what all of these tell me to do.

Do you want me to wait 60 days for someone who hasn't posted with a dead character?
