Most amusing. Darth Ayra slowly turned her gaze away from Reverance, towards Darth Ferus and smiled. Not a pleasant one, as she had become well practiced in display, but a manic grin that was a slight against the Shadow Hand's challenge.

She nodded, leaning down to activate her intercom. "I accept."

"Before we depart, I'll tell you all that Solan Charr once planned a rebellion on Coruscant back in 837, just after we usurped the Jedi and took Coruscant from the Republic. You want too strike at the rebellion, then here is someone to attack. He's base of operations are on Keth."

"Do with it as you will."

The accusations that she hadn't been at the Battle of Ord Merit were of no consequence, considering she had participated in the recent occupation of Telti. Due to outside circumstances (IRL), her participation hadn't had the same impact as she had at Kashyyyk, when she had defeated Meric Nadun; or Manaan, when she had fought the monster, [member="Stone Hermes"]. Regardless, Darth Ayra had played her part in the One Sith conquest across the galaxy and two worlds, with two certain individuals, had tasted her wrath.

Nothing would compare to the rage she would bring upon Darth Ferus.

Politely, she bowed her head in the direction of Reverance, when he had finished talking. One Sith had revealed himself to be an enemy, she didn't need another. He's message was loud and clear. Suddenly, Ayra turned back around to Ferus, dropping her heavy robes off her body to reveal her Saberstaff, Lightsaber and other weaponry she would bring to bear.

"Why wait for the citadel, when we have the outside to fight?!" Manifesting the Force into her hand, the Sith Lord aimed to knock Ferus out of the summit, through the doors they had walked through and out into the platform that led to the landing bay, where the various transports that had carried the One Sith delegates to the meeting.

Drawing her Lightsaber into her left hand, Ayra went after Ferus, teeth bared and ready to sink themselves into his body. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
There was a single brow raised on the Epicanthix's face as his quarry began to derobe in front of him. Needless to say, Ferus did not expect not only an acceptance, but the fight to begin right then and there. This surprise wasn't a bad one though, and the Sith's smile widened into a toothy grin, baring fangs. The push slammed into the man without even the slightest mention of a guard or block from himself. Rather, he soared with the blast, kicking open the doors in a form of a black flip.

Landing just outside the doors, a golden saber would flash to life, wide red eyes staring right at [member="Darth Ayra"] with a devilish delight. No longer would he be paying attention to the rest of those nearby, who were quickly evacuating the general vicinity, and instead brought up his own hand. Like snakes the Force would reach out from his hand, aiming to engulf the female and drag her towards him, ripping her from she was standing to soar through the air, and out of the room. His voice called out in an almost singsong voice, clearly pleased.

"Then this Sith Temple will be our battle ground. We shall meet in single combat, and the victor will be decided. Let this be known to all Sith here!" The voice boomed out with an echo of the Force, clearly enhanced by the energy. Tan skin slowly turned to pitch, a clear sign the darkside was beginning to flow through him.

Let the Kaggath commence.

The snap-hiss of her Lightsaber erupted across the summit, as two Sith Lords engaged in an ancient tradition. As she was pulled towards Ferus, Ayra unleashed a boot into the assassin's chest to knock him backwards, landing down onto the floor and pivoting to a stop, lifting her gaze up to her adversary. Sith Acolytes came to a stop at the hallways, as the doors to Hauntruss's meeting burst open to reveal two Sith engaged in combat. Their Overseers paused, joining their students to watch. The Sith Lords within turned to continue their meeting, the petty squabbles of two rivals in consequential to the fate of the galaxy.

As the doors behind them were closed, Ayra rolled her Lightsaber around her hand. The monster within once more lifted it's snout to the surface, sniffing at the prospect that it would once more be given blood. Her blonde hair was electrified in her powers of the dark side, with yellow vornskr like eyes glowing malevolent. She lifted her Lightsaber ahead of her and then waved her free hand across it's crimson light, engulfing it with Force Lightning.

As the lightning cackled across the blade, Ayra then lifted the blade up towards Ferus and threw it towards the assassin. The Saberthrow arched through the halls of the Sith Academy, lightning cackling off the Lightsaber as it was swung towards Ferus. Ayra had her hands held up towards the weapon, her brow etched in concentration as she maneuvered it through the Force.

With the boot planted to his chest, the Iridonian moved with it. The golden saber would retreat for the length of his backwards somersault, his hands planting against the ground to spring board him back farther away from [member="Darth Ayra"] . Slowly he would stand back up, red eyes glinting with pure enjoyment. Similar to the female, Ferus brought his own hand to his saber, channeling not lightning, but simple, raw Force into his blade. The golden saber came to life, seeming to burn far more than the normal saber.
The lightning infused saber soared through the air towards him, and a grin began to form on his face. Running right for the spinning blade, his right hand would hold his infused saber and his left would also begin to shimmer with raw energies. Leaping upwards, he would move to flip over the blade as it came for him. The pitch left hand would slam down, aiming to knock the spinning blade low with a powerful push, and his right would bring the glowing blade right down with his flip.
Still a distance away from his opponent, this would seem useless at first. Until another blast came from his golden blade. Thin, and insanely sharp, a wave of pure energy would shoot out for Ayra, it's edge sharp as any sword. It was a range attack, quick and powerful. Ferus wasn't going to hold back now, not in a Kaggath.

Instinctively, Ayra lifted her arms in front of her face and chest, her senses telling her of the incoming attack. Using her powers in the dark side, she also created a Force Shield to ease the incoming blow. As it impacted, the Sith Lord skidded a meter backwards towards the doors where Hauntruss's summit was being hosted. Pain shot up across her arms, with fresh bruises appearing from where Ferus's attack had hit her. Without the Force Shield, her arms would have been broken.

Lifting her left hand up to the air, her Lightsaber arching back around from the saberthrow and into her palm, Ayra coiled her fingers around the hilt and focused her eyes back on Ferus. A life's work had taken her to this point. The reasons as to why she now did battle with Ferus, did not matter. Here was an opportunity to claim another powerbase, to accelerate the Grand Plan. Set before she was born and before her master, claiming all that Ferus owned- title, subordinates and resources- for herself would bring the scheme closer to fruition. Whoever emerged the victor, would have all that the other had owned (or what they knew to be owned) and the loser would be exiled, left to rot in their decadence.

It would not be her. She would never be never.

Decisions could come back to haunt her, but Darth Ayra had decided to make an important one. She was aware that Ferus was a superb lightsaber combatant, with the two of them having practiced and perfected her lightsaber techniques during the days of the New Order. But that had been a long time ago, and contact with Ferus had been lost during that time. Until now. On the defensive, Ayra would read the situation with a calm and collective head, to which she would bring all her rage and hatred to bear once she had spotted the most opportunistic moment to strike.

Thus, with her lightsaber back within her grasp, Ayra took a step forward and readied her for Ferus's next assault. Counter-attacking would be her way of fighting back.

There was no pause from the Sith Lord. No, there would be no breather, no quarter. [member="Darth Ayra"] would find no moment to drop her shield, for Ferus was a top her when the blast connected, his form having followed. Low to the ground, the alchemised being was far faster and stronger than Ayra would have remembered, or possibly even have faced before. Ferus was a monster, and fueled by the Force now.
He had everything on the line, Ayra was a no body, with no ties, no powerbase. Ferus lead the Sith Assassins, a massive powerbase spreading throughout the Galaxies shadow. Red eyes would fix onto hers as his golden lightsaber was brought about for her chest, slashing upwards. The blade was once more filled to the brim with the Force, but this time the blast was not a refined wave, but a raw explosion of energy. His free hand however crossed over his chest, a push blasting out for her saber as it flew towards the both of them.
The Dark Lord's Shadow would not relent.

Her senses attuned to the Force, eyes set on what was ahead of her, Ayra was given only seconds to respond. She lifted her lightsaber into the path of Ferus's swing. Golden met crimson light, as the two briefly locked. The power Ferus had fed into his swung, fueled by the dark side, caused Ayra to relent her grip on her lightsaber, less she tried to keep hold of the hilt and the kinetic force break her fingers. The lightsaber flew out of her hand, it's hum swinging through the air as it's red light cleaved into the walls above, leaving an orange hue before the artificial crystal inside broke along it's durasteel casing.

As the lightsaber fell into fragments, broken by Ferus's power in the Force, Darth Ayra made her move. She was a close combat specialist- it was what she was good at- and subsequently, she combined her knowledge on the Force in conjunction with her combat training. She would deceive Ferus, moving into the White Current to hide herself from view. To Ferus, she was there one moment. Disarmed and open for the kill. The next she was not.

When Ayra reappeared, the snap-hiss of her saberstaff alerted Ferus to where she had gone. Imbued with Force Lightning, fed through her palms and into the weapon, Ayra swung one end of the saberstaff into the direction of Ferus's lightsaber, before arching her body to lift the other side into his chest. Anticipating a parry or counter-attack from her foe, she aimed to defend her flank on one side and attack with the other.

There was an interesting thing about White Current.
It toyed with the minds around them. The Sith surrounding the two could not feel, see, or even notice [member="Darth Ayra"] , for their minds were too weak to resist the Immersion. She was no longer in existence to those watching this Kaggath.
Expect for Ferus. The man was was an Epicanthix, and no mind manipulation would work. As she tried to move around him, after a rather surprising deflection with her lightsaber, his golden eyes would move with her. Oh yes, he knew exactly where she was, he could still feel her. One could not hide from the leader of the largest group in the galaxy known for stealth. Before she was even halfway around him his blade would lash out for her defenseless form. She trusted in the Force too much, left herself far too open.
Again, his lightsaber was filled to the brim with the Force. Once close to her form, a massive and destructive blast would again erupt from the blade, destroying anything in it's path. Both hands now rested on his blade as he turned to cut for her, unforgiving. She had pushed her luck one too many times.

The Ferus that Ayra had known in the New Order had been a Zabrak Sith Lord. Perhaps it was due to being caught up in the battle, but the Epicanthix that was now ready to deal the killing blow had received an opening made up from an amalgamation of sequences that had forced made his opponent forget that the White Current would have no affect on him. Fortunately, she had moved in sequence with the attack, rather than wait for the White Current to take affect; and so a moving target was more difficult to hit, than it a stationary one was.

She was in trouble, however. As Ayra moved around to the back of Ferus, ready to cut him down, there was a sudden pain across her the left side of her lower back. Lifted off her feet, Ayra's world span as she flew across the expanse and into a pillar that held the Sith Academy up. Pieces of debris fell alongside her body, as she dropped back to ground. Smoke rose up from her fallen body, her saberstaff laying somewhere in between herself and Ferus, dropped as she was blasted away from him.

From all pretense and purposes, Darth Ayra had been defeated. Nothing more was to be expected from the Dark Lord's shadow.

Rather than let [member="Darth Ayra"] hit the floor, the Sith Lord brought both hands around, aiming directly for her. A Kaggath was not over until one surrendered, or died, and neither had happened just yet. With the golden lightsaber off, his full and undivided attention was on her, and her falling body. Through the Force he would reach out, tightening it's energies around her form. Unless she resisted, she would find herself suspended in the air, unable to move.

Without a word the Dark Lord's shadow began to tighten the grip, his hands moving closer together and his open hands turning into balled fists. He was going to crush her, overwhelm her with raw power and leave her corpse nothing but a bloody mess, unless she surrendered or escaped the grip first.
