PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Thaloryn is a normally moderate and considerate individual, though he can become stern and intensely focused when it comes to combat. He believes that life and loyalty are sacred pillars of a virtuous existence. He also believes that the Sith and their wanton destruction is the greatest threat to stability which aligns him more with those who abide by the serene codes of the Jedi.

Technologically Challenged
- Outside of using basic technology Thaloryn is at a loss with the technology of the age. Doors, hatches, foundational datapad usage, and such other mundane day-to-day tasks provide little challenge. The operation of a data spike, trouble shooting software errors, use of sensors, etc. are nearly impossible for him to preform correctly.
- No matter the tribulation, no matter the danger, and despite all pleads to the contrary, Thaloryn is incapable of leaving an ally behind.
HISTORY
Born to settlers on Tython his childhood was uneventful, full of the simple pleasures of family life in an idyllic location such as the venerable planet. During the events of the Second Great Hyperspace War his family was forced to leave the rolling hills of Tython or risk being consumed by the ferocity of the campaign. Thaloyrn was discovered by a Force Adept while his family planned to wait out the war on Dantoonie. With convincing that Thaloyrn would be better prepared to face the dangerous Galaxy under the mentorship of this Adept he was given leave to train Thaloryn by the boy's parents so long as they did not leave the planet.
The mentor taught Thaloryn the basics of Form 1 though this was mostly via a wooden training sword as lightsabers were scarce. In order to make up for this lack of access to the Force Sensitive's weapon of choice the Sephi was trained to use his body as a means of defense. The Adept was versed in Shon-Ju as welll as Teras Kasi. In the remaining years of the mentors time on Dantoonie he imparted as much as he could to his student before the Will of the Force ushered him onward to new purpose.
At the conclusion of the Second Great Hyperspace War the family was able to return to Tython with Thaloryn trained to martial level of a Padawan or Sith Initiate but lacking in both sect's teachings. In the absence of those teachings during his early formation Thaloryn adopted his mentor's simplistic but difficult to execute philosophy of serene self-improvement.
