Biography: Thall Marr was born into servitude on Nal Hutta. He never really knew his parents, as his mother died during childbirth, and he never knew his father. He was raised as a slave to the minor Hutt, Gella the Hutt. One of many slaves, Thall learned to survive by looking the other way, groveling on the floor when his betters passed by, and never standing out. This strategy worked until he was thirteen, when his best friend since childhood, Omar, was killed by Gella the Hutt for spilling a drink on a visiting guest. Omar was nailed above Gella's throne, and forced to slowly die by suffocation as all in the room watched. The boy had only been eleven at the time. On that day, as he watched his friend suffer, Thall decided enough was enough. Over the next few years, he slowly worked his way up the social ladder among the other slaves, forming loyalties and groups. When he turned nineteen, Thall led those who would follow him in rebellion against Gella.

The battle was bloody to say the least. Early into the slave revolt, Thall's forces were armed with nothing but improvised weapons and a few knives. Only after Thall had taken one of the armories in the palaces eastern wing, killing over a dozen guards himself in the process, were the slaves able to arm themselves properly, and fight properly. Still, even with the weapons, they were untrained, and for every guard they killed, three slaves were lost. After two hours of fighting, Thall led final push towards the throne room, breaching the inner sanctum of Gella. Gathered in the room, the bodies of dozens of children were scattered, killed in retribution by Gella. This proved to be the final straw, and in his rage, Thall connected with the Force for the first time, and shattered Gella's body. Thall had the Hutts head removed, and placed on a spike outside the palace for the Hutt forces who arrived to help. Taking Gella's personal ships, Thall led the survivors away from Nal Hutta, and into the outer reaches.

During the journey, those too weak to survive the trip slowly died off, as the supplies and medicine began to run low. The deaths of those who trusted him, and had followed him through hell, shattered what little morality Thall had left. When the rag tag fleet emerged from hyperspace, those who had survived had been changed with their leader. Gone were the weak slaves, gone were those broken under the whips of masters. All that remained were warriors. Killers bent to a single purpose, Thall's. Slowly, they began to raid coveys belonging to the Hutt's, slaughtering any guards who resisted, and freeing those who would pledge their loyalty to Thall. Slowly, the force began to grow in size and power. During one raid, Thall came across the records of an ancient empire, one built on the backs of those weaker than them, and dedicated to ruling all. Thall took the memory of this empire to heart, and leading his followers to a new world, he began to lay the ground work for the creation of this new force.

Strengths, Weaknesses, and Personality:
Thall has become a brutally effective military commander. He is willing to do anything to achieve victory, and destroy anyone who gets in his way. His intelligence carries over to the political field, where he is adept and forging new loyalties and bonds, even when the odds are against him. What little morality was long ago wiped from his character, and Thall has become a man willing to kill anyone if it means furthering his goals.

This savagery however has often led Thall into getting over his head, leading to extensive losses where it could have been avoided. He also has very little patience for diversions and feints, and his is overly direct and forward with his tactics.
