DESCRIPTION
The Tetron Centrex TC-11 Particle Blaster Carbine is Tetron Centrex's first foray into arms manufacture. Designed to be fielded by Tetron Corporate Soldiers, the TC-11 is solidly built, if simplistic, and boasts numerous features to make it reliable, easy to maintain, and an asset in the field.

Consisting of a tempered durasteel frame, the TC-11 is built to last, and is constructed with magnabolted rivets, inert-power-insulated wires, matter composite shock dampers, gel injected airseals, and is dipped in preservative coatings. While considered overkill for most other companies, this is considered a necessity for Tetron; as a Terraforming corporation, Tetron operates in all environments, from freezing to burning, from mud to desert, from vacuum to corrosive rain. As such, a weapon that is highly resistant to corrosion, water, dust particles, and other environmental factors is an absolute must - the TC-11 can be bashed against a rock, dropped in mud, then rolled in sand and still fire as designed.

A particle beam blaster, the TC-11 fires yellow bolts of unstable explosive plasma. The TC-11's bolts tend to pop on impact rather than explode, featuring exceptional armor penetration compared to standard blaster carbines - but is ultimately lackluster compared to a full particle rifle. This tradeoff in sheer firepower means that while each bolt is relatively less powerful, the TC-11 can boast a higher rate of fire befitting a carbine.
