SPECIAL FEATURES
- Solar Energy Collectors
- Solar Ionization Reactor
- High-Intensity Electromagnetic Field Generator
- Central Intelligence Processor
- (+) Efficient: utilizes remodulated Visual Electromagnetic Intensifier technology tuned for weather control as opposed to mass destruction. As a result, planets can be terraformed efficiently and quickly in a matter of years as opposed to decades.
- (+) Networked: satellites coordinate with each other through hypercomms and a central intelligence processor, monitoring terraforming conditions and adjusting as needed. This largely cuts out the need for organic supervision aside from setting desired parameters.
- (-) Unfit for Combat: completely unsuited for combat, satellites are unshielded and emit considerable energy signatures that make them easy targets, guaranteeing their prevention as weapons of mass destruction.
- (-) Mass adjustment: satellites are only capable of atmospheric manipulation on a mass adjustment scale, and must be paired with additional machinery to fine-tune atmospheric composition.

DESCRIPTION
The Tetron Centrex Suborbital Terraforming Satellite (STS) emerged from Oda Duun's push to solve the inefficiencies of traditional terraforming, which often left colonies half-finished and unprofitable. Repurposing earlier corporate technologies like Visual Electromagnetic Intensifier arrays—once designed for military weather manipulation—Tetron engineered a compact orbital platform that could reshape a planet's climate within years instead of decades. Drawing power from solar collectors and a high-powered solar ionization reactor, the satellites use high intensity electromagnetic field generators to regulate weather patterns, disperse storms, and thicken or thin atmospheres on a massive scale. When deployed in coordinated constellations, they act as a self-regulating network, constantly adjusting conditions without heavy organic oversight. This efficiency makes them highly appealing to colonies, corporations, and factions eager to settle or exploit marginal worlds, though the satellites must still be paired with Tetron's ground-based refineries to fine-tune atmospheric composition—ensuring ongoing dependency on Tetron's ecosystem of products.
Despite being marketed as tools of progress, the STS has inherent risks and darker implications. They are completely unsuited for combat—unshielded and energy-intensive, they're vulnerable targets in any conflict—but the potential for abuse still remains, especially on low technology or rural fringe worlds. Rival corporations fear Tetron's control over these systems, suspecting "errors" could conveniently render rival colonies uninhabitable until Tetron is contracted to intervene. As such, the STS stands as both a marvel of engineering and a double-edged instrument of power: capable of drastically accelerating galactic expansion, but equally capable of reshaping entire worlds into tools of control, coercion, or exploitation.
