An Ion-Plasma reaction supplies constant ion flow through ion inductors to an ion pre-cycle impeller; once enough requisite charge is stored, the impeller drives a plasma rotor that generates power. With its sequential design, the generator is sufficient to power 100 households with a single generator, 300 with two, and 500 with three generators in a staged array.
Designed as a rugged, modular, and accessible enough for even struggling colonies to rely on—yet still tied firmly to Tetron's supply chain. The result was the 11a: a compact but powerful ion-plasma reactor with a dual fuel intake system, capable of running cheaply on liquid hydrogen or at higher efficiency with deuterium. This flexibility makes the 11a appealing to frontier settlements where resources are scarce and logistics unreliable.
