PERSONALITY:
Tethys is the kind of girl that’s easily bored and always seeking ways to stay entertained. When dealing with others she has a tendency to come off a bit rude, but it’s just her way of being honest and direct. She is the sort that likes to be in motion and ready to spring into action at any time, it isn’t her way to sit around and wait. Tethys is normally quite level headed, but her emotions can get the best of her at times. If she becomes angry or frustrated she tends to lash out at anyone within earshot, and isn’t above unleashing her wrath upon inanimate objects.
APPEARANCE:
Tethys is fairly average size wise, and has the outward appearance of an angsty teenage girl. She has pale skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes that are usually lined quite severely with black eyeliner. Generally she has the appearance of a street urchin, tattered clothing and a bit unkempt.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tethys grew up in a small orphanage on Nar Shaddaa, and has no information about her parents. Even from a young age she was no stranger to knocking about the streets and getting into trouble. Tethys and the other children would often take to the crowds and steal what they could from those that had their heads turned. When she was 16 she was caught trying to steal from a local spice dealer called Raul Shepperd. Raul decided that Tethys reminded him of a friend ([member="Delaney Bale"]), he then took the teen under his wing and made her one of his own. He liked to take in young people as he found that people found youth to be less suspect, and made his spice business even easier. Tethys has lived with Raul for the last 3 years, taking up shelter in his shop located in the Undercity of Coruscant. Despite Raul’s less than desirable reputation and his multitude of nervous tendencies, Tethys remains close to him, often referring to him as “Uncle”.
Tethys roams the Underworld on a regular basis and has cultivated a deranged sense of security; though she knows to keep her wits about her in such a place. As many patrons have learned not to trust Raul, they will often seek Tethys out in order to set up deals. It is her job to discreetly deliver spice orders to local customers. Her ‘regular’ patrons know full well that Tethys is under the protection of Raul’s hired guns, so they generally leave her alone. However, her attitude and tough front have gotten her into trouble in the past. Tethys has been taking ‘lessons’ from Raul’s mercenaries in order to defend herself, but fist fights are still not a strong suit. She is aware of being force sensitive, but she hasn’t received any formal training. Feeling the touch of power that lies within her has nudged her in the direction of finding a master, the power and influence would be most beneficial.
