DESCRIPTION
Established two centuries ago in Eriadu's capital city of Phelar, Teth Enterprises had humble beginnings in the transport and shipping industry. Since its establishment, Teth Enterprises has expanded into telecom, energy extraction, research and development, defense contracting and a variety of other sectors. The success of the corporation led to significant growth in the prominence of the Teth family on Eriadu, which gradually became a well-known name across the world and along the Rimma Trade Route for the services offered by Teth Enterprises. By 825 ABY, the corporation had reached its peak on the Galactic Trade Network, but its value began to fall under the leadership of Verrin Teth. Verrin diverted much of Teth Enterprises' wealth and resources to charitable means, particularly within the space of the Galactic Alliance, Silver Jedi Concord, Outer Rim Coalition and Confederacy of Independent Systems. Dedicated to using the value of his corporation to combating poverty and alleviating those impacted by conflicts across the galaxy, fears spread that Verrin would in turn bankrupt Teth Enterprises entirely.

Sudden and tragic change managed to save the corporation from such a fate when an assault by the Galactic Empire on Eriadu resulted in the destruction of the Teth homestead and took the life of Verrin and his wife. With Verrin's death, the majority of the corporation's shares transferred to the ownership of Aryn Teth, then-Supreme Commander of the Galactic Alliance. Uninterested in the world of business and instead dedicated to his position within the government of the Galactic Alliance, a business manager was appointed to handle the corporation's day-to-day business, with Teth himself only contributing rarely to the long-term plan of Teth Enterprises. After the fall of the Galactic Alliance and end of the Great Galactic War, a significant portion of Teth Enterprises' capital was diverted to charitable funds benefiting the refugees and exiles created by the war.

Since the disappearance of Aryn Teth following the end of the Great Galactic War, the company has branched out from its previous refusal to engage with Imperial powers. In the modern galaxy, Teth Enterprises engages with all major powers across the galaxy, though its facilities and headquarters continue to remain predominantly centered around the Rimma Trade Route and the planet of Eriadu itself. In recent years executives and lobbyists for Teth Enterprises have been seen in the Imperial Capital and on Coruscant, tying the corporation most significantly to the Galactic Alliance and New Imperial Order as its two primary client states.

RATIONALE
Despite his presumed death over a number of years, a series of complex bureaucratic issues have made the removal of Aryn Teth's majority shares in Teth Enterprises difficult. In the last year, the board has decided to take the company public in the hopes of resecuring these shares. The return of Aryn Teth to the galaxy at large has caused argument among the board as to whether such a process should continue, and these debates remain ongoing. For the time being, Aryn Teth remained the majority shareholder in Teth Enterprises as this debate continues, but there has been minimal effort made on his own part to contribute to such a debate. Regardless, the business manager appointed by Teth - Delan Tenro - remains firmly of the opinion that the company does and always should belong to a Teth, even in name only.
