Raised in the Hirken Household of Alaskan, one of the old families of the galaxy, Terra Hirken was groomed for a role since her childhood. While she was initially pushed towards a position in the political scene, Terra was steered toward a military career during her final years in the Academy after her older brother who was supposed to fill that role for the family, died. As such she is a Lady of class and status who feels the responsibility and power of her position and often uses it to achieve an end by whatever means necessary. Bold and often aggressive she is more simply an ambitious woman who believes she is going to fill a role the legacy of her family demands.
BIOGRAPHY
Enlisting in the planetary defense forces when she turned 18, after only just graduating from the Alaskan Academy, when the galaxy plummeted into turmoil as billions disappeared, Terra Hirken desired to emulate her ancestor of old who led the forces of the Alaskan League in triumph in the 5th Alaskan Conflict as her world was one of the ones that was abandoned by the Republic in the face of the galactic disaster. For the next six years she would serve dutifully and with promise as a Captain of one of the Alaskan Navies battlegroups formed out of necessity to prevent pirate infringement and Sith advance in the system.Updated: At least until her homeworld was conquered when the Sith finally did decide to move onto the planet. The planetary shields and many garrisons being destroyed in blooms of fire while Sith Assassins slaughtered the military command themselves. With the shields down, the military without order, and most defenses ruined before the Sith Fleets attacked, Alsakan fell in quick order. Now intent to see her world free again, Terra fights alongside others in resistance against the Sith occupation.
