Description:
For years, after losing her first lightsaber in an accident, Arisa had content herself with a spare lightsaber that she had salvaged from a Sith she had slain on Coruscant. As she was coming across tougher opponents with more advanced defenses, she decided that she needed an upgrade herself, constructing a new more effective lightsaber that also represented her growth as a Jedi Sentinel.
With the wide adoption of lightsaber resistant materials, she came up with a novel solution, inspired by chainsaws. She created a coil modeled after a lightwhip, which would rapidly rotate along a rail of repulsor coils. In this way, the cutting power of the lightsaber was greatly enhanced. However, the drawback was increased complexity introduced into the basic design, as the coil was made up of dozens of focusing crystals and other components that have to be constantly maintained for optimal performance.
With repulsors embedded along the physical blade/rail of the lightsaber, it functions well as a bludgeoning device without the need to activate the coil, the repuslors emitting pulses of antigravity waves to enhance the concussive force of strikes.
The mostly metal construction has a finish of Sasori Mesh for added resistance against energy and lightsabers in an unpowered state. This gives the whole lightsaber's surface a special gleam that turns into a glow under darkened conditions. The mesh along the blade portion was bound to the surface in such a manner as to create a permanent sharp edge with the Force imbued wintrium.
