Strengths:
Tank: The Teleute Class Destroyer was made for one simple reason, to suit the combat style of Reverance. As such the ship was designed as a tank in space, for lack of a better term. The ship has an extremely thick hull, a double growth of Yorik Coral and a hexagonal inside skeleton made the vessel extremely sturdy and capable of taking phenomenal amounts of firepower. Similarly, its overreaching amount of Dovin Basals gives the ship an incredible amount of defense, adding up to quite a bit of sturdiness for the ship.

Dread Weapon: The greatest and most surprising asset of the Teleute Class Destroyer is its Dread Weapon. This was something not seen since the Miid-Ro'iks were popular among the Yuuzhan Vong Fleets. The Teleute, unlike any other Yuuzhan Vong ships created by Titan Industries houses a single Qworlth Skaal Dread Weapon. This is why it is so important that the vessel be a tank. The ship gets in close, its 'jaws' open, and the massive Qworlth Skaal protrudes forward, latching onto the nearest capital ship and consuming those inside. It takes several moments for the Qworlth Skaal to destroy a vessel and longer to redeploy, the Dread Weapon is not a superweapon, it is a living creature that requires time to do its work. Without the Dread Weapon the Teleute's armament falls short of ships with equal size, meaning that eventually in a toe to toe battle without its Qworlth Skaal the Teleute will lose.

Weaknesses:
Short Range: Because of its nature as a tank the Teleute is relatively short range. It houses only three types of weapons, short range Yaret-Kor, Dovin basals, and it's single Qworlth Skaal. This means that the ship is at a disadvantage when fighting larger and longer range vessels like the Republic's Noblesse class. Though this was deemed acceptable due to the great amount of damage the Teleute is capable of taking.

Spine: The Teleute like all Yuuzhan Vong ships is a living creature. Like any living creature the Teleute has several weakpoints. The Teleute's weakpoint happens to be located on its “spine” the massive spanning tail that seems to flick about and behind the vessel. This tail is connected to the central spine of the ship, and located at its base is a single spot that when struck by a significant impact or blast will momentarily cripple the ship, causing the vessel to “Seize” and disrupting its Dovin basals*.

Only One Hot Tub: The Teleute only has one hot tub.

Description:
The Teleute Class Destroyer is the personal ship of the Wrath of the Dark Lord Reverance.

The ship, like many other personal vessels crated by Titan Industries is uniquely suited to its commander. This ship was designed to accommodate Lord Reverance in any tasks the Dark Lord Might ask of him. As such the vessel is uniquely suited to operate on a sole basis, not necessarily requiring a fleet or even support ships to back it up in the middle of a fight.

The way that the Teleute accomplishes this is rather simple, it was designed as a tank.

Instead of dealing massive amounts of damage and holding against several opponents by never even fighting them, the Teleute is instead designed to go into the middle of a fight and simply outlast its opponent. The Ship uses a myriad of Dovin Basals to stick the enemy fleets into place, then utilizes its Yaret-Kor at close range to wipe out opposing fleets, utilizing the Qworlth Skaal within its massive jaws to take out and destroy larger vessels within a matter of moments. Without the Qworlth Skaal however when placed against a ship of equal footing and strength the Teleute would likely fall short of its opponent.

In short, the Teleute was designed to be disruptive, made to take on fleets by utterly confusing them and then destroying them within that confusion.

Beyond its combat parameters, the Teleute was also designed as a home for Lord Reverance and those he travels with. As such the inside of the vessel is far more amicable than Yuuzhan Vong ships usually are. Inside of the ship are a multitude of rooms, halls, and recreational spaces for Reverance and his friends. These rooms range from dining halls to secreted torture chambers. All of them see use in one way or another.

The large 'disc' of the Teleute is much like the central orb of a Lucrehulk. This part of the ship can detach itself from the rest of the vessel, using its Dovin Basals to maneuver and move about. This part of the vessel is capable of landing on a planets surface and can be used as a small operational base.

The most exclusive portion of the ship also carries a single hot tub. This hot tub is drained of water when in combat and then filled when it is time for relaxation. This ensures that there is no spillage when the Teleute enters a battle.

All in all the Teleute Class Destroyer is a highly functional ship, acting as the spearhead when in a fleet and as the twisting knife when alone. This vessel is capable of an untold amount of desctruction and is uniquely suited for fighting against certain kinds of fleets.

*Not saying where this is on the sub exactly so people can't just know its there.

Right, this has some good development, is a solid submission and I like the little touches and flavour.

However, the Qworlth Skaal is massively open for abuse. As it is only one ship, I'm reasonably open to let it through and simply have it pulled back out if abused.

Looking at the sub I have a few questions:

- What happens if an enemy ship has full shields and you attempt to deploy the Qworlth Skaal?
- Looking at the gun count, it seems if the Qworlth Skaal is already deployed, this would likely come off second best in a head to head encounter with another assault ship of similar class?

By all accounts in the novels Qworlth Skaal simply go through shields, at least thats the impression i got reading the books. It's entirely possible that the Qworlth Skaal smashes through the shields due to its size and strength.

As for the second term. I don't really apply the "Heavy" or the "long-Range" crap to Yuuzhan Vong Ships because Yaret-Kor and Dovin Basals are both incredibly varied according to the Wookiee. However, i would answer your question with both yes and no. The ship likely wouldn't do as much damage to the enemy, but it would survive, thats its purpose, simply stay alive so it can disrupt the enemy fleet and use its Qworlth Skaal to destroy everything.

It makes me a little nervous. You can take the heaviest event ship in existence, park this alongside and gut it. We all know unique ships are bestowed with a serious amount of "plot armour" but still...

On balance I'm going to request to following please:

- Outline in the submission that if this ship went toe-to-toe with a similar class (assault star destroyer) it would eventually come out second best in a straight fight without the use of the Dread Weapon.
- Outline that the Dread Weapon will take some time to disable/destroy an enemy ship. (Isn't going to happen within a few seconds, ready to be re-deployed)

Forgive me, can you outline the quote where you've met this request please! I'm probably just missing this! :)

Apologies, thank you very much.

Pending approval, I'd ask the admin in question to check they're happy with this.

[member="Reverance"] if you do abuse this and it gets reported, it'll be whipped out and looked over at a speed that'd amaze even a flasher at a public park.
