DNA Scanner
The blaster has a scanner embedded into its grip that stores the unique DNA of the owner and keeps it on record. If the grip reads any DNA other than the wielder or any new DNA stored in the weapon, not only will the pistols remain safety locked, but they will administer a very painful shock after five seconds of continued contact.
Computerized Scope
The blaster is controlled by a computerized scope that locks onto a target and only goes 'boom' when it's perfectly aligned.

DESCRIPTION
The TE-33 blaster pistol is the modified version of the TE-32 that Karina's father had commissioned for her mother, years ago. The blaster pistol is of average size and the weapon is equipped with a power pack capacity for fifty shots, with enough blaster gas to last one hundred shots. The power packs only need to be ejected and replaced, as one would a cartridge, and blaster gas canisters can quickly be replaced in the standard method. This weapon is typically only effective within a rage of 50 meters, and its accuracy drops when engaging in sustained firing. The barrel of the weapon is of fine craftsmanship, allowing sustained fire without overheating or melting the barrel.
