Originally designed to be used as an Imperial Starfighter that never saw the light of day, the TE-002, known as the "Slipknot," is the repurposing of an old concept that saw an interperitation of the Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptor for the Imperial Navy. While this original concept would never get off the ground, Drekker Industries would retain it's concept, beginning to produce it as a brand new like hundreds of years later in 903 ABY, following the Second Great Hyperspace War. The Slipknot, unlike the Eta-2, is a pure dogfighter, choosing to stray away from the main model of it's inspiration for a style of ship more akin to that of Incom's X-Wing. High speed and manuverability, standard shielding, and a great degree of adaptability for various roles while in the air. The vessel comes equiped with a sensor jammer for stealth opperations, though comes at the cost of squadron compatibility when in use, and has a Magna Lock, making it easy to transport and hide in debris. This flexibility comes at a cost, however, as the numerous systems in the vessel take up a great deal of energy, forcing the pilot to pick and choose what they employ at any given moment. This is an expensive starfighter intended to be bought up by the highest bidder and used in war.
