Description: The Plasma Pistol is a short, one-handed weapon designed by Tazi's Machines. It was produced by the company to provided the soldiers of the Hutt Cartel and affiliated organizations with an close-combat and hold out weapon.

The Plasma Pistol works by electromagnetically accelerating a plasma shell down its barrel. In effect, it is a miniature mass accelerator.

On firing, a ferromagnetic, solid slug is loaded from the magazine and turned into plasma by electromagnetic induction, as it would be relatively easy to alternate the coil current at frequencies sufficient enough to heat the coil to an extreme temperature while keeping it in the chamber.

The solenoid is then charged fully, propelling the newly produced plasma out of the gun at an extreme velocity while keeping it cohesive. Though this electromagnetic field continues to keep the plasma together until impact, residual plasma is expelled from the barrel to produce the weapon's considerable muzzle flash.

The Plasma Pistol MkI was destroyed after it's first shot due to the over load of power travelling through the barrel. The small explosion was enough to blow the hand of Cadan's durasteel, robotic arm and throw shrapnel into the face of those around it. Since then the MkII has had decreased power output and thus a reduced amount of recoil and range. Since scaling the power down from the MkI, the plasma pistol has the same power as any run of the mil pistol.

Could you elaborate on the destructive power a bit more? What was the cybernetic arm made of and how does the MK II compare to the MK I for instance, or how well does it do against your typical run-of-the-mill armour? Thanks!
