COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Strengths: Task Force Cresh-Nine excels at taking down star destroyers, battlecruisers, and flagships. Its extreme speed, strong maneuverability, and specialized close-range weapons allow the task force to get in very close, move too fast for heavy guns to track, and pick apart much larger vessels with relative ease. This is especially true for ships that focus the bulk of their weaponry on heavy, quad, long-range, specialized, or otherwise consolidated mounts.
  • Weaknesses: Any situation where it can't close with the enemy quickly, or where the enemy is well escorted. It's one thing to dance around a lone Star Destroyer and make it go away; it's another matter entirely to try that while being shot by the ship next door.
  • Description: Independently, both the Pimbrellan League and the Naboo identified a need for a relatively small, light, fast vessel that could bring pain to much larger ships. Their solutions varied, but complimented each other. With the acquisition of several Admonition-class transports from Naboo, the Outer Rim Coalition decided to mate the two approaches. The resulting task force has very little flexibility so far as mission profiles go, but it does one job extremely well: forcing random command ships to run to the hills. When the D'Lessio's shield-ignoring weapons and the Borurrs' Raptor shieldcutters get going, it's a strong signal that retreat or adaptation is in the wind. When shields go down and Pimbrellan beam weapons start carving up hulls while heavy ion turrets crash systems...well, ideally, that's when the real fear sets in.
