Description:
The Tarkin-I is the first in the line of planetary invasion purpose Star-Destoyers. It is designed the classical Star-Destoyer style of the Galactic Empire. Unlike the Isard-I, the gun count has been reduced and space has been introduced for more fighters and assault transports.
On the battlefield the star-destroyer is to be accompanied by Isard-I as escorts and Hetzer/Guillotine companies to provide fighter protection upon approaching descent into a planet’s atmosphere. Isard-I and Tarkin-I provide the Imperium the base assault fleet unit. Tarkin-I is not to be confused in purpose with an out-and-out carrier like the Zsinj-II Carrier, which is designed more in the style of the Acclamator-II series.
