There is not much known about her life on Zeltros before she came to work for Ayumi as a floor boss in the Upcity. As one of the managers to a casino in the entertainment distrct she largely proved her skills because Tarish ate, slept and breathed gambling. She made her first bet when she was fifteen years old, and she always made credits. She'd find out the kind of inside stuff nobody else knew, and that's what she'd put her credits on. She spent years working for Ayumi in the Upcity casinos getting the chance to move up and as she worked on it... the former senator observed that she didn't really like gambling... she did it more because she could then because she enjoyed it. After placing her bets usually getting several to change their bets to follow suit.
The improvements to the Upcity saw her getting a better chance as she was offered a position to oversee a new endeavor. The Uptown Girl a vessel that was prepared and being used by the district to bolster all of Denon by giving a safer place for tourists to spend their currencies... a chance like this didn't come around as often and she took it with a very important lesson... she had to make sure anyone cheating learned they don't do it again. Ayumi commissioning from Sasori the construction of the luxury liner and with several casinos, hundreds of food places, shops and space for millions of passengers... Tarish knew she had a lot she would have to do so private enforcers were needed to make sure everything was good. She would spend the time as needed.
Tarish has spent the time as Upcity is renovated and improved overseeing the launch of the liner.. the first groups of passengers booked, the first shakedown run. With it they would be able to do a lot more and improve themselves for possibly a second or more of the ships down the line. If they could make Denon the tourist destination of the High Republic then they would be able to improve a lot of their standings. She knew Ayumi had plans to upgrade district 19 with more innovations and draws for the tourists of the galaxy who want to come in and spend their credits.
