, Tamar was the secret her father sought to hide. Self-consumed with his rising influence and power, evidence if his extra-marital affair would ruin him. He managed to strand the pregnant Sanquine on a lonely moon. But the Mandalorian shaman was rescued.
Shortly after her birth, it was decided, for several reasons, that the child should be not be raised with her mother. Heartbroken, Sanguine entrusted the care of her daughter to those who knew how to hide in plain sight. A conclave of Fallanassi. Tamar was raised as one of them. She proved to be a prodigy, becoming an ardent student of the White Current. However, she struggled with Fallanassi philosophies, such as pacifism, and as a child, started a number of fights. She also showed some aberrant traits, able to do a few things through the White Current that others could not. These were all blamed on her mother's genes, running with blood magic.
At the age of twelve, Tamar's mother visited and revealed herself. Tamar was never told who her father was. Angry at first, her upbringing in the practices of the White Current allowed Tamar to understand and forgive her mother. Sanquine visited often after that. All the while, Tamar proved a progeny in the ways of the White Current, growing strong in its practices. Eventually, in her late teens, Tamar learned the rare art of Similfuturus, which allowed her to project herself across the galaxy to visit her mother.
By the time she passed the rite of adulthood, Tamar's insistence on learning unorthodox practices and challenges to pacifism motivated the leaders to invite Tamar to "leave and explore the galaxy".

APPEARANCE
Tamar has an unimposing stature, with a slender build and modest curves, though she is by no means frail. Her skin is a medium tan, smooth and nearly flawless. Her hair is pewter-color, long, and usually kept in dozens of small braids.
Her features are youthful, with bright blue eyes. Her clothing is nondescript, usually consisting of dark pants, a light sleeveless shirt and a long open robe or jacket. She is rarely without her pet snake draped over her somewhere.

PERSONALITY
While newly exposed to the galaxy at large, Tamar is not naive. She had been trained by the isolationist, paranoid Fallanassi about the dangers beyond their conclave. Her bright curiosity is tempered by a sharp intellect and wit, She is cautiously friendly until the time she feels a new acquaintance is 'safe.'
Her relative isolation has rendered her a bit socially awkward, not shy, but eccentric. The Fallanassi are practitioners of White Current, and so Tamar's morale compass in of the light, and shuns the "Dark Tide." However, the means by which 'good' is done by Tamar can appear morally gray. For example, she is well equipped to thieve, but would only do so if the need is real, and only from those she feels could afford it, or deserved it.

SKILLS
Sleight of Hand: A natural skill that followed being able to hide in illusion, Tamar is an excellent pick pocket.
Singing: While not a professional, Tamar has a singing voice that has been described as "celestial".
Marial Arts: Learned only after leaving the Fallanassi (the Fallanassi abhorred violence). The only weapon she is trained in is the hanbo.
Cooking: In the Fallanassi conclave, Tamar was tasked with cooking meals.
NOTABLE TRAITS
Strengths:
White Current Prodigy: For reasons debated, Tamar is strong in the Fallanassi's view of the Force, called the White Current. She is able to perform feats rare among the Fallanassi.
Now You See Me: Tamar excels in abilities that create illusions, and has the ability to use the White Current to hide herself from all detection. A curious effect of how the Fallanassi interact with the Force makes it difficult to percieve them as Force sensitive.
Similfuturus: Tamar is able to project her being across short or very great distances, including distant star systems.
Weaknesses:
Not a Warrior: While Tamar is able to defend herself, she is not primarily a fighter, and would rather employ her talents to avoid combat rather than engage in it.
Techno-Shy: Tamar is adept at the most basic, prolific technology in the galaxy like comms, datapads, chronometers, and so on, but tends to shy away for more advanced technology, or those which perform tasks she could just as easily do herself. She does have a curious habit of treating droids like real people, whether or not they actually possess any personality.

WHITE CURRENT
The White Current is the name by which the Fallanassi call the Force, the adepts utilize it almost solely in the creation of illusion or affects on the mind. They do not employ it to control or affect anything physical. Tamar, however, has learned a few abilities outside of this philosophy. Some of her abilities include:

Simone- A bright green snake gifted to Tamar by her mother. Tamar, and Tamar alone, has the ability to transform Simone into a three-foot long staff of incredibly hard wood. Tamar is then able to imbue the staff with the White Current. If the staff is broken, Simone dies. Otherwise, Simone is a normal serpent.
