TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Classification: Talisman/Artifact

Size: small

Weight: very light

Strengths:
+ Provides the ability to reflect a force attack back upon the source
+ ‎Because of it's ornate design it would be considered jewelery and not a weapon
+ ‎Once the Talisman is chosen by an individual it will only work specifically for them

Weaknesses:
- Can only reflect a singular massive force attack or 2-3 much lesser attacks
- ‎Must be 'activated' by the wearer before it reflects meaning an ambush/attack with the wearer unaware of the danger would not have the foresight to activate the Talisman
- ‎The crystal is attuned to the force and could potentially reveal the wearer during any stealth endeavors

DESCRIPTION
Studies into the arcane arts of Sith Sorcery and the Magik of the Witches had Muad Dib stumble upon the Talisman of Counterspell. An artifact that could be created to turn another Witch's spell back upon them self. Taking into account that Muad and his allies most likely wouldn't be coming against other spell weavers in combat he used his knowledge to create the Talisman of Reflection.

Collecting several Kyber crystals from the planet Christophsis, within the borders of the Confederacy, he began his work. Utilizing a rune of protection from the grimoire of the Mandragora he marked the crystals with an imbuement through the force while manipulating the spirit ichor of the witches in a bastardization of the Counterspell incantation.

Instead of creating a Talisman that could reflect spells it became a Talisman that could reflect any force ability back upon the one it originated with. Using the Kyber Crystal granted the Talisman several unique traits. First, because of the nature of the crystal, the abilities were powered by the crystal itself and not the wearer. Secondly, also because of the Crystal's unique properties, it excelled in reflecting Darkside abilities. Thirdly, and again because of the crystal, the force ability to be retracted is sent back with more power due to the Kyber Crystal's ability to exponentially increase the output of energy.

However the Talisman does have limitations. Because the Talisman uses it's own energy reservoirs it can only be used to repel a single, powerful attack or two to three much lesser, weaker attacks before the crystal must recharge naturally over time. Another factor is that the crystal is activated psychically with the wearer of the Talisman. Prolonged exposure to a Darkside wearer can have two side effects: one being an occasional headache for the wearer and the other being a 'bleeding effect' for the Talisman which will decrease the Talisman's ability for a Darkside using wearer and increases the amount of time the crystal must recharge.

In the end the Talisman is meant to be worn for protection against a massive attack that could destroy and kill the wearer, allowing them to not only protect but reflect the attack upon the enemy without draining any of the wearer's energy.
