Private Taking on hitchhikers

Location: Belasco

Ardon shook hands with the Selkath as the last of the shipment was loaded. The legal portion. Ardon probably did more legal trades than not, but there was always that shipment ready to make some extra money that needed to get under the radar. He was careful who he worked with though. In this case, they were unauthorized ion blasters. Home made actually. But much less of a profit to be made if they were taxed, not even considering all the legal matters they'd have to get through assuming they were even allowed to make them. Ardon would take them to the salesman later, for now, they were in the hidden compartments. The legal stuff was mostly comprised of parts used in some kind of biotech, Ardon didn't fully understand it just that it had to do with the sort of seasonal Waterborne bacteria Belasco had. Probably some kind of analytical equipment. Wasn't important he was just going to take it to another person to sell.

For a smuggler he was well armored, but there was a rather good reason for that. He flew alone for the most part. And unfortunately he'd had his fair share of 'scenes.' Even when the cargo was perfectly legal there was a risk of pirates or something. And the cantina's he had been in weren't all the most friendly, he didn't want to take risks. His helmet was hanging at his side though, and his rifle on his back. In spite of his rather equipped appearance, he didn't exactly look like the type of guy who was eager to use them. He stopped by an open bar near the docks that his ship was at, "Ardon = would like: Ardees" before pulling out some credits and waiting for the drink. Nodding his head as it was given, "Ardon = thankful"

His voice certainly did sometimes get looks. Even his pronunciation of it was often very robotic. Most droids didn't even speak that way. But he'd gotten used to it.

Walking down the docks hoping to find someone to help him get off belasco he noticed the bar that ardon was at and decided to see if anyone in the bar would let him hitchhike he walked in and asked a few other patrons until he sat next to ardon "Hi if you happen to be a pilot could i hitch a ride?"
he asked a hopeful look on his face

Ardon looked at him and smiled, "You = welcome to: board. If: you = do not steal." he answered holding out a hand, "Ardon = Ardon Tillian. Ardon = ship captain. Ardon = requests: your name."

The complications of language. Well at least he figured he got out the best way of communicating that. It always got harder the longer he went on but he hoped it wouldn't bother Kal too much.

Well that was one problem solved. Ardon took a drink from his Ardees, "You = bringing baggage? Ardon = Has room. You = heading somewhere specific?" he did just ask to hop aboard. Ardon wasn't quite sure if that meant he needed to just get off planet, or was hoping that wherever Ardon was heading would get him closer, or to, his destination. Either was really fine with him, sometimes people just needed to be somewhere else.

Well that was that, Ardon shrugged. Taking another drink of the Ardees and then taking a breath before downing the remainder of it. He didn't like making people wait. "Ardon = ready. Ardon = already finished business. Ardon + Kal Harris = leave soon." he said gesturing for him to follow as he headed for his ship.

As he followed Ardon back to his ship He asked some questions like "How long have you been piloting ships for?" he also wondered why ardon spoke the way he did but felt like it would be rude

Ardon looked at him for a moment thinking on the answer. Mostly how to word it. "Ardon = unsure. Childhood of: Ardon = involved many: ships. Official Pilot Time = 3 - 5 years. You = wanderer? You = prefer: hitchhiking?"

"I guess you could say I'm a wanderer and yeah I like hitchhiking you tend to meet very interesting people when you do it" A small smile rose on his face as he spoke
