Strength: Experienced combat soldier
Strength: Strength, he has grown up on a high gravity world 2g and so his bones and muscles are stronger than average due to growing up in an increased gravity well. He tries to exercise in such environments on a regular basis.
Strength: He can be incredibly brutal in combat, seeing only the end result and not necessarily caring about how he achieves his goals. While in many circles this is a strength, this can also be considered a weakness.
Weakness: He has difficulty in social situations, typically being awkward and not really knowing what to do and is often uncomfortable in large close crowds that aren't made up of military personnel.
Weakness: Due to being expirimented on through the Force he can have irrational fixations, and sometimes personality shifts.

Syyl Vester stands at 6'2” with brown hair and lighter skin, his is strong but not overly muscled, the best balance for a lifetime soldier. He has a number of small scars from previous injuries sustained during combat operations. His eyes are green with silver flecks.
BIOGRAPHY:
Syyl was the son of a soldier of the Thyrsus Sun Guard who emigrated away from the home system. Growing up his father ensured that he knew how to fight even before he could walk, or at least start learning how. At 18 he entered the Stormtrooper Academy as an officer cadet, earning his commission and being assigned to the 4th Legion of the 327th Star Corps in command of a platoon. His first full scale invasion was at 20 at the Battle of Renetasia where he took part in the initial airborne invasion wave. During the subsequent brutal campaign he was field promoted to the rank of brevet Colonel, and seeing the most brutal combat that had been seen in a long time, so brutal that the perceived failure of the military that it was covered up by Supreme Command.
Returned to his original rank he was moved through several commando units before being selected for training for the Emperor's Shadow Guard. After a short tour he was experimented on a powerful Dark Lord who was attempting to increase the Force Sensitivity of his soldiers. The experiment was a failure and left Syyl to mentally unstable to pass mental health evaluations for the strains of being a Shadow Guard and the lack of Force abilities ended his assignment with them. Instead he was promoted to the rank of Commander and given command of the 4th Legion, his original unit. Showing his command abilities were no less than before he quickly took command of the 327th, and then given command of naval units, much to the dismay and anger of the navy. His command was given the title of Strategic Interests Task Force. The mission was to obtain strategic resources and locations, and confront threats that the normal fleets were unprepared to counter. After a time he was sent with his command to the Unknown Regions where he saw the severe limitations of the standard types of warships and vehicles when going toe to toe with equal or superior foes.
He started modifying his ships and vehicles to be more militarily efficient, preferring powerful designs to jacks of all trades. While limiting flexibility, the improvement in combat efficiency was marked, and he brought about new tactics to reflect the ships and vehicles new abilities.
It was these experiences that pushed him to but heads continuously with command on military design philosophy upon his return. Now he serves his superiors whim's and continues his personal quest of military efficiency over silly scare tactics. Brutally efficient success says more about ability than size, and if a feared unit is known to approach, sometimes victory can be achieved without ever having to fire a shot.
