- The Upari crystal within the necklace housing is a crystal that was imbued with Force Valor by Syrena's former master over several years.
- The necklace itself is durable due to the materials it uses and can sustain a deal of energy damage.
- The Force Imbued Upari crystal resonates a personal level of confidence to the wearer passively.
- The housing of the stone itself is fairly tough despite it's size.
- Valor: The Force imbuement of the Upari crystal has been done in such a way that it provides a passive aura of confidence and determination to the wearer and an active augmentation of the power Force Valor when called upon by the wearer.

For years he toiled over how best to protect the girl. Years he spent his days taxing his mind with ideas on how to keep her safe in a galaxy that he knew to be far too dangerous for one so young and naive. A lightasber, holocrons, robes and a variety of other things tasked his time as his energies grew weaker. It was his final project that would be one of his greatest gifts to the young Syrena Kothari.

Five years to the mark it took him to reach and imbue the crystal. Infusing it with her energies, her Force signature and the power itself, he struggled to completely fashion the crystal for it's proper course. Only in the final days of the fifth year did the crystal finally respond to her presence as he had hoped it would. He could see a light in her eyes from it's influence, though she did not yet wear it, when he kept it in his pocket in her presence.
It was to be among his final gifts to the young girl upon the day of his disappearance. To the girl he had come to know as his daughter since he took her as his ward seventeen years prior. It would protect her in his stead, along with the many other items he left to her, and it would stand as a reminder of his own confidence and determination to bolster her spirit.
