  • Affiliation: Closed-Market
  • Model: Swarm Firing System
  • Modularity: Variable for Ships

  • Production: Mass-Produced
  • Material:
    Duraplast Casing
  • Internal Components

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Slaved Firing: Designed to further automate a ship by working weapons and engines. To focus fire on damaged enemy ships instead of just spreading their attacks out.
Strengths:
  • Coordinating droid brains for attacking damaged ships to eliminate threats faster once damage is detected.
  • Overly Engineered: Designed to reduce the required crew of a ship and automate the ships for attacking and screening enemy ships.
Weaknesses:
  • Communications Jamming: The coordination between the droid brains requires a connection and military grade jammers for cutting off all communications can sever the connection between the droid brains and mess with their coordination for attacks.
  • Overly Engineered: Designed to reduce the crew required heavily which means that when the droid brains are disabled or jammed the ships become dead in space. Their weapon systems are coordinated to be fired with other ships like it or controlled by a central Battle ANalysis Computer that can coordinate it and others across a battlefield.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Saotome for and with the Second fleets new upgrades and improvements. An advanced form of the slave circuit for creating a swarming solution. ONce an enemy ship is damaged the droid brains concentrate and coordinate fire on the enemy ship unless directed otherwise or the ship is destroyed. Once it is they can move onto the next damaged one. To achieve this the ships become almost fully automated with slave circuits controlling and coordinating it with droid brains. While this can mean less rick for a crew and more efficiency as the ship doesn't need as much space. This also means that without redundant crew to take command the swarm upgrade can only be used in the most optimal of conditions without its droid communications and coordination being jammed. At its best the upgrade will allow fighters or smaller ships to swarm and pick apart larger ships... worse case scenario you can render part of a fleet inoperable.
