Surprise Sortie

Location: Republic space, leaving Black Sun's
Objective: Reach destination (not likely)

The trip through space had been a long one. Since leaving the planet Abeloth, Tugoro had been rather restless, thinking of the events that had transpired as he wandered aimlessly. Having called in a sizable convoy, the young Jedi had requested a Turhaya class freighter, for it was specifically made for Jedi. Walking around it's long corridors, the boy found himself extremely bound, unsure of what to do. He was desperate to leave the freighter, though didn't want to seem too rude for departing from the ship he had requested specifically. The Padawan and several others had been picked up from the dark planet's surface, and brought up into space for a quick and fortified escape. Along with the freighter he was currently in, there was a single Redoubt-class Assault Crusier, which was considerably bigger than the Turhaya and the other AP-290 freighters.

The convoy of Republic crafts had managed a jump into hyperspace, shooting through the dark vacuum at extreme speeds. Unfortunately, they were forced to make a stop earlier on a nearby Republic planet for maintenance and refueling purposes. This had made the Jedi even more bored, for he had no interest in exploring the world outside. Eventually, the youth fell asleep in his Jedi meditation chamber, eventually awoken by blaring sirens, along with the flashing red lights. Something was approaching the convey, something big. Leaping to his feet, the Padawan would race through the halls, making sure the crew went to their stations as he passed them by giving them a confident nod. They knew what to do. Skidding to a halt, Tugoro's fist would slam against the console upon the wall, causing the door to slide open. Stepping onto the command deck, the young Jedi would give the officials and such a few nods, before standing still at the large view ports. Whatever had tracked them down, was twice their biggest craft's size, maybe even bigger!

If they planned to board any ships, it would probably be the large cruiser, for it led the group. "Plot a course for the Redoubt, we're boarding." He would state, turning to those that controlled the many systems needed for piloting. Through the deep reaches of space, Tugoro swore he could feel a familiar presence through the force, unaware of [member="Aedan Miles"]' part in the surprise attack.

Aedan Miles sighed as he looked the convoy before him over muttering darkly. "Disable the Redoubt I would prefer to avoid killing people bracket the freighters in missile fire and send them the message that this is a raid. We are only after any goods they have then we will be leaving. Advise them that it would be very foolish to resist us as their ships are much weaker then ours." Aedan watched as his orders were fired and the Turbolasers all released a single volley at the Redoubt-class before his Ion cannons opened up. All the missiles locked targets around the freighters and fired causing explosions to rock the ships but barely touch even their shields. His message echoing out over the channels calmly.

He turned and started to walk towards the hangar and the drop pods waiting there. Sitting in the hangar bay were instead of the normal compliment of fighters only 2 full squadrons and a large amount of drop ships. Scattered around loading up in the drop ships were his clan of Mandalorian soldiers. Walking towards the first drop ship Aedan gestured that was all it took hsi men moving quicker as they climbed in the fighters launching first and streaming out to make sure no other ships would give them a hassle as his drop ships lifted off and started moving towards the convoy slowly.

A strange chill would run up the youth's spine, as he continued to look out the wide viewport, gazing up at the massive star destroyer that [member="Aedan Miles"] commanded. The Turhaya Freighter would make it's way through space at a decent pace, cruising through the vacuum towards the larger Redoubt cruiser. The Jedi Freighter would begin to turn, it's engine's hum powering down as it approached. The young Padawan would turn on his heel, marching down the hall as he exited the command deck. Suddenly a warning missile would graze the ship, lurching it's interior from side to side. Tugoro would trip thanks to the rocking, falling flat on his face as he listened to the explosion.

It was definitely time to leave. A boarding tube would begin to extend from the freighter's side, it's plastic-like material stretching as it unfolded. Instead of changing into one of his armored outfits, Tugoro would remain in his Jedi tunic, as he leaped up back to his feet, beginning to sprint down the ship's corridors, towards the boarding air lock. At the end of the opposite hallway, was Strike Squad, a team of nine Republic soldiers trained to work in coordination against many enemies. Nodding towards the large group, the boy would wave them along, knowing they had his back as he skidded to a halt in front of the air lock's sealed door. A green light would appear overhead, and Tugoro would press his finger against the control panel, allowing him to enter the next room, which held off the deep vacuum of space.

Glancing at a view computer screens, the boy noticed that the boarding tunnel had connected with the Redoubt as planned, and was working fine. Air had been filtered in, however the entrance on the other side was unresponsive. Figuring that the cruiser had been disabled via ion cannons, the Jedi would lead his team along the boarding tube, until they reached the jammed door. Lifting his arm, Tugoro would expel a stream of telekinetic energy, having it envelop and control the operating mechanism of the airlock. It's airtight seal would disengage, and the two metallic doors would slide to grant the team access. A group of Republic officials had been waiting for their arrival, quite eager to fill them in on the situation. Nodding his head, Tugoro would weigh his options. The other freighters had most likely been hit by the warning missiles, now stuck in one place. Seeing as there wouldn't be any reinforcements, the boy decided to resort to hostility as a last resort, ordering the crew to gather a greeting party in the hangar. Sprinting along the corridors, Tugoro would enter the hangar bays, coming to a slow walk, awaiting the arrival of the drop pods.
