+Pain tolerance:Being zabrak already gives high pain tolerance, that coupled with grueling training makes him incredibly hard to incapacitate.
+Strength:For a humanoid Surl Ran Shok is extremely strong which, when combined with force enhancement, can make his blows staggering to even the most experienced Jedi
+/-:Rage:When angered (which can be quite often) will often attack in a wild flurry of force enhanced lighsaber swings, But will tire both his physical and force abilities quickly.
-Honor:While ruthless in combat he will refuse to kill noncombatans (unless they have done something special to earn his ire) and has an extreme distaste for torture.
-Sith sorcery:He has NO patience for the rituals and pleasantries of sith sorcery believing it to be impractical.
Apperance:Surl Ran Shok is 6'4 with a large frame. His face is riddled with scars and traditional zabrak tattoos as is the rest of his body. When going to combat, he dons a suit of black full body battle armor. When at rest he wears common Sith robes.
Biography:Surl Ran Shok was born into one of the few remaining tribes on the planet of iridonia. At a young age he showed an aptitude with the force by moving small rocks. Since the time he could walk he was trained in martial arts by his father, an accomplished warrior, as such training was expected of all members of the tribe.It was an efficiant and brutal form that focused disabling an opponent with powerful strikes to joints. His force abilities deeply concerned his parents.
Realising the attention that a force sensitive could draw he was sold as a slave at the age of 10 to the hutt cartel. His experience as a slave was deeply scarring, but would teach him that the powerless would always be at the mercy of the powerful no matter how moral the powerless were. He didn't ever want to be powerless again. He was extremely careful to keep his force powers hidden to the carel until the age of 15 when he was discovered. Rather then punish or kill him though the huts would proceed to use him as an enforcer. His day's as an unpaid thug would give him a look at some of the lowest that society had to offer. It would also teach him that the the only thing people would reliably respond to is violence. At 18 he was set free by a human Sith Knight by the name of Yilain Tatsoi.
Taken to Korriban, the next ten years would consist of almost nonstop training.There was a lot to catch up on as he was taken into the Sith at an older age then most. Yilain would prove to be an effective teacher despite the cruel nature of his training. Having one on one deathmatches with lightsaber training droids, being ambushed by his master or a group of combat droids with regularity, and being subjected to pain. Pain and discomfort were always present in his training. His master would meet his untimely demise at the hands of an unknown jedi master when shok had recently turned 28. Now alone again shok seeks to lash out against those who wronged him and to finally put years of training to use.
