Hey there! Welcome to Chaos. ^_^

A character can begin at apprentice/padawan level with a lightsaber. There are no extraneous requirements for that. If you want to progress beyond that, though, it'd be best to find a master. For Sith, that means 90% of the time you'll be heading to the One Sith. You can learn more about promotion and factions in the convenient bar at the top of the page.
