En route to Csilla-Fire-watch Space Station

Kiran wasn't worried in the least when the transport ship began to shake and shudder hear and their and some of the crew began to get a little nervous and slightly increased anxiety. Kiran by no means was a engineer or a mechanic, however just by the noises that came from within he could sense that something was indeed wrong here. The ship dropped out of hyperspace unexpectedly and Kiran couldn't really do much but just sit by and wonder what he would do if the ship would blow up, granted the first thing was he would probably die. However as he and the other passenger exchanged nervous glances, it was announced over the speaker that they were going to be docking at a place called Firewatch Station.

"What's that?" Kiran asked quietly, more a mental question to himself but came out verbal.

"It's a midway station point, a place to refuel, eat, rest and all that jazz. Well, in our case...get some repairs." As soon as he said that, there was an electrical disturbance almost right next to him as he shielded himself and moved over to his left side to avoid any sparks hitting him. "FIRE!!!" Kiran shouted as he unbuckled himself as it seemed there was more issues going on then appeared. Kiran ran towards the extinguisher ripping off the protective covering and he began to spray the contents over the now small fire in the electrical vent. Smoke rose lightly after it was subdued and Kiran waved his hand in front of him and coughed several times. He spoke rather sarcastically "This is great."

"Not to worry, we just docked with the station and we will get diagnostic and repairs going immediately, however we might be here for a day or two, perhaps longer depending on how long it takes for repairs."

"That's great, because I don't like, have anywhere to go or anything." Kiran said with a smirk and he even laughed afterwards. Kiran handed the extinguisher to one of the crew members who thanked him for his action and the young man exited the ship. He raised his hand to his mouth to cover another of his coughing fits due to the smoke and then he finally took a good solid breath of clean air. Kiran looked at his arms and his clothes, and some of it was lightly matted with smoke residue. "Oh well.." He whispered as he looked around to the already busy hangar, and the state of their ship which had garnered attention of others who were either gawking or checking to see if everything was okay.

"You sure you got all that miss?"

The very top of a red haired head popped over thee pile of parts on the counter. Somewhere behind the mechanical bits and bops, Sam nodded emphatically. Honestly, she wasn't entirely certain if she could get it all, but she wasn't going to admit that. Not because of pride, or anything like that. But because she didn't want to be a bother.

"Yes, thank you. Um. H-how much do I owe you?"

The man behind the counter calculated quickly in his head, then sounded off a number that was about twenty percent too high. It wasn't him trying to rip the girl off. This was just how business was done between the stars. He said a number that was just too high. She'd counter with something that was insultingly low. They'd banter, maybe insult each other's heritage. And finally agree one something more or less in the middle. It wasn't personal. Just how these things went.

So it took a moment to muffle his surprise when the tiny "okay" was uttered and credit chits were pushed across the counter without even a 'wow that seems expensive.'

"Oh. Okay. You know what, let me get a box to put this all in."

Seemed like the least he could do.

Sam exited the shop a few minutes later, view largely blocked off by the box full of components. Every now and then the top of her glasses would peer around one side or the other as she started to navigate through the station crowd. Over all, she was very pleased with herself. She'd gotten all the parts she needed but one, had found out where she could get that one, and had paid and left the shop without anything bad happening! Not that bad things happened often to Sam, truth be told. But last time.

Well, the last time had been a dozy, so this was a nice confirmation that people were generally decent.

She hummed absently to herself as she navigated the halls, trying to find the last shop she needed and not bump into anyone in the process.

With all the chaos that had ensued during the recent moments from the time they had the first issue with the shuttle he wasn't aware that more was to follow after they hit the space station. Kiran sat on one of the crates his feet dangling off the side as his hand was rested on the side of his face while listening to all the banter and arguing that was going on between the crew. If he had know, he would have just stayed where he was. A slightly bored and much more annoyed expression was alight on the face of the young man as his eyes just darted back and forth between those that were talking. If one were to be looking from the outside as still some were, it would look very amusing. Luckily the everything seemed under control for the time being, just arguments about what was wrong and what needed to be fixed.

"I told you to check the hyper drive before we took off?!" "Well, perhaps we hit an invisible electrical storm or something?!" "I did check it before we took off!" "What do you mean electrical storm, are you out of you mind. That is ridiculous!"

"Perhaps we should get an outside opinion?" Kiran interrupted but to no avail as the four continued to argue and check different things. The young man hopped off the crate and as he started to walk away lightly chuckling. "Why don't we just get another ship." Kiran muttered under his breath. By the time they sorted out what really mattered, a week might have passed already. Desperate times called for desperate measure he would need to fix this himself. However, Kiran was well aware that he was wasn't a mechanic in the least. Which mean he would need to find one, at least one that was competent and knew what they were doing. While Kiran had never done much travelling it was always a sight when he saw something new, perhaps it was his small need to explore and check out new things. During much of his life he had always thought about becoming an explorer or like adventurer of the sort, while his actions in his life have robbed him of such a thing. Now granted on his own doing, he wasn't so selfish as to not admit to his faults.

As the young man seemed more concerned which taking small glances around instead of looking at what was in front of him, as he rounded the corner he almost collided with a large box, that someone seemed to be carrying. "Woah!" Kiran exclaimed as the near collision startled him a bit.

"I apologize, are you okay?" Kiran inquired.

Sam let out an eep and a squeak and only just barely managed to hang onto the unwieldy box as she and [member="Kiran Arlos"] almost collided. She ended up in a bear hug with the packages, bespectacled blue eyes *just* peeping over the top and hands gripping the box far more tightly than necessary.

She nodded at him, glasses slipping slightly down her nose with the motion. Hands too full to do anything about it, she wrinkled her nose to try to push them back up, but to no avail. She crossed her eyes, frowning down her nose at the offending contraption before looking back up at him and blinking in confusion for a moment before-

"Um. Yes. I'm- I'm sorry I didn't see you. There. I mean. Right now. Are you?"

There was a beat before she realized that probably didn't work, verbally at least.

"Okay. I mean. Are you okay?"

Luckily it wasn't as bad as he thought. However it was a complete accident and Kiran meant no ill will by it, and while she spoke to him. The young man just stared at her for a brief moment before he dissected what she was saying and then she finally said what was meant to be said.

He thought...

"Oh yes I'm fine. I'm really sorry about that again. I don't really travel much so seeing new things and places usually gets my attention first." While Kiran wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do now, he thought that it would be best to get some food. However he felt that could wait a bit as he was going to offer his services to this girl if she needed them. Meeting new people was always on the agenda of the young man, while gaining knowledge of the universe also required conversing with other people. And in his particular case, it was always nice too.

"Do you need help with that." Kiran inquired, looking at the girl with a small smile.
