Description:
Designed by Lily Kuhn as her first solo project, the Sublight Assault Frigate was intended as an all-around balanced assault frigate. It carries with it fifty capital-grade weapons, roughly five defensive weapons, and three cluster bomb deployers. While it is relatively filled to the brim with weapons its hangar allows it to carry with it a single squadron of fighters which compensates for its lackluster speed and maneuverability. To allow the ship to take full advantage of its weapons while not cutting back too far on its mobility while moving through normal space, the Sublight Frigate was equipped with a class 2.0 hyperdrive rather than the standard class 1.0. Generally this would mean longer travel times during extended trips, especially for those that are a considerable distance through the galaxy, and potentially inescapable skirmishes if the ships were unable to pull out in time during a retreat.

Also on board the ship are the Image-Rec Launcher and Target Acquisition & Tracking systems (TAT), which assist not only in keeping an eye out for ships that may be approaching from longer distances, but also to identify ships by their make, model, manufacturer, and in some cases government affiliation if the data for these ships are publicly available, or otherwise stored in databases for the Image-Rec to cite from. The primary advantage with the Image-Rec Launcher is the ability to pick up visuals of ships that might be using stealth technology that would have prevented the TAT from picking them up, unless the ships are rendered invisible to the naked eye. As with most ships produced by Koros, the Sublight-Class Assault frigate was designed with consumers in mind, and as such is an open market item.

Nice sub!

You're bottom end of the frigate scale for speed and manoeuvrability, despite having top end capital weaponry and max size, please adjust this up 2 each.

Could you describe the cluster bombs a little? Are they for ship to ship, or orbital bombardment?
