Sub project: Leviathan

Miss Blonde

Patricia was at her workshop again on Relovian, she had a very fun project on her plate today and she was honestly looking forward to it. Today was going to complete project destiny, three sets of armors made from various rare materials. Recently the last two had been phrik plating but today was special.

She had recently picked up some ultrachrome on the black market and was preparing to make two sets of armor out of it rather than the three she was used to making. This was due to the fact that this was sub project leviathan. A powered ultrachrome armor system that could take anything from sabers, slugs, blades, it was going to be the cherry on top of what she had previously made.

So with a large stack of ultrachrome ingots laying before her and a few boxes of various other materials she would be needing, the woman sat back and prepared to get everything going. Her droids were primed and programmed to work, the furnaces were hot, and her crafting table was set and now all there was left to it but to do it.

When crafting armor the first step was to start from the inside out, and of course the first layer was always a thermo body glove that would stick to the skin and keep the operator inside of it warm or cool, whether it was in a tundra or the vacuum of space the operator would be in a stable temperature. So with that in mind the woman grabbed the box with body gloves in them and cranked it open with crowbar.

"Set these up on the dummies please, I need to go and set up the other pieces of the armor. Warm up the mesh machine and set it to delicates and I mean real delicate." Patricia said to her droid crew.

With a wave of her hand the droid's went off to go handle what she had said. Grabbing the body gloves they took them to the mannequins and placed them atop it. After that they adjusted the armor mesh machine and would have it repurposed for a different purpose. Patricia had a different use for it today when it came to the armor, she'd still be making a mesh but it would be to power the armor.

"Did you guys cut those power glove fabrics like I asked?" She asked her lead droid.

"Yes' ma'am. We followed your word to the letter." the droid said in response.

"Excellent, move them over to the mesh machine. I'll be over shortly." Patricia said as she walked over to the ultrachrome ingots

Jarven gained access to the workshop and stepped inside. Turning the corner, he set down his stuff on a nearby table and casually walked over to his wife. He stepped up to her and kissed the back of the neck before whispering,

"Hey, baby. How's my snoogy woogums?" He knew she didn't like that name, so he weathered whatever elbows or blows she sent his way. It was still worth it.

"How can I help, honey? Need me to model those body suits for you? Hammer some metal until it begs for me to stop?"

Patricia was focused on her project and honestly didn't notice Jarven, so when he embraced her and gave her a soft on the kiss on the neck she tensed at first but slowly relaxed into it. Her arm came up and slowly ran her fingers through his thick black hair, she leaned her head against his then gave a small chuckle at his rather lame pet names and sexual innuendos.

"Well you can pound metal all day, but when you have the right technique you get the job done the first time." Patricia turned around and gave her husband a short but satisfying kiss on tbd lips.

"I'm just working on my last piece of armor, and yes I do need some help. I have to go and manually create the powered body glove, I need you to do the very important and sophisticated job of grabbing those heavy ultrachrome ingots and placing them in the furnaces." Patricia giggled a bit then smiled at her man.

"Id do it myself but I'm not strong enough, and the droid's are busy unloading the other boxes." the woman said in a mock sad voice.

"I'll make it worth your while." Patricia gave the man a pat on his butt then winked before walking over to the armor mesh machine.

Jarven smiled his stupid grin and said,

"Anything for you, baby," he started walking over to the ingots and grabbed for them.

"I'll have these out of here in no---" he tried grabbing multiple at once, but realized there weight was too much and unwieldy. With an "oof!", he dropped the handful of ingots, which clattered back onto the table, smiled sheepishly at [member="Miss Blonde"] and then relegated himself to taking them two at a time.

"...Er, I've got it, babe...." He walked over to the furnace and was going to place them into their melting slates when he realized that the work and furnace it was too hot. He would be sweating in no time. He stripped down 'til he was shirtless. He then proceeded to carry all of the ingots to their berths.

After that, he sat down on the hard ground and tried to catch his breath. He was sweaty, as he figured he'd be...

"Sure you do..." Patricia said as she slapped on a pair of thick black lens goggles.

Power gloves were a marvelous creation, they were like the bud light version of crushgaunts. Tiny reactive fibers that acted like muscle that gave the user added strength. Well Patricia was going to take this concept and have it be implemented on a full body scale. So this would mean that the armor could be your standard plates but the power would of course come from this mesh of fabric that acted as extra muscle.

People weren't going to be lifting speeders by any means but they could possibly have strength near that of a wookie. Recoil would be lessened, punches stronger, the possibilities were going to be fantastic. So with all this in mind she began the process of binding and meshing all of these fabrics into one solid piece of mesh.

After the mesh was complete the woman began to input dimensions and designs into the mesh's sculpting feature. After a few minutes the machine spat out two suits of power fabric and Patricia quickly gathered them up walking past a sweaty and shirtless Jarven making sure to get an eyeful as she did so.

Placing the two suits on the dummies Patricia walked over to the furnaces and saw that the ingots Jarven placed in were melted and ready to go. So that meant she needed to assign her husband another task, something that she normally couldn't do.

"Do me two favors, first this." the woman walked back to Jarven kneeled down and gave him a loving kiss.

"I had my 3D printer craft the molds for the armor. Grab those and move them to the smithing area. Place them under tubes where the liquid ultrachrome will pour from." She stood up after that and walked over to her crafting table to get everything set up. She needed her motion capture gear.

"Mmm..." He happily reciprocated her love. "That sounds like a favor for me, baby."

He grabbed both molds with his two hands and lifted them over to the smithing area. He turned around halfway and walked backwards, saying,

"You know, honey? I think Jarven Jr. said his first word yesterday! We were driving through the city and he was in the backseat. We were passing by a McYoda's when I could have sworn that he said---!"

Jarven was cut off when the arms of a lifter droid came into his peripherals.

"Woah!" was what he yelled before he ducked down and avoided the lifter platform. The treadfoot droid rolled on by without stopping or noticing. Jarven stood there, breathing a bit fast

"...I'ma...I'm gonna' just...put these where they belong."

He set them up just as she told him. He kept making sure they were in there all snug and right.

"Really?!" Patricia yelled from across the workshop as she casually grabbed her gear.

"What was it?!" The woman said as she had her head inside of a drawer rooting around for her contacts.

Taking everything she needed the woman took her contacts and slipped them into her eyes, afterwards she walked over to the smithing area where she saw the droid almost give her husband a massive headache from a platform.

"I saw that Gary!! That's strike two! One more and you're going back to the line!" she yelled at the robot waiving her fist at them.

Walking over to Jarven and the furnaces she chuckled and opened up the gate to pour the liquid hot ultrachrome into the molds of the armor. Reaching down the woman used the motion cap tech and had the droids grab the chest piece for the armor. Once it was in hand Patricia cooled it and began to have the droids take hammers to it to strengthen and craft the armor.

"Here I'll give you something your speed, nerd." the woman chuckled again and had the droids strike the armor once again.

"You'll find my work computer over on my table! There's a CPU next to it! Go and program the IFF system and the HUD system while I craft this!" She yelled to her husband as she continued to smith the armor.

"He said Wal-Mart. Of all the things he could say for the first time, WAL-MART was the one!"

He laughed really hard at that. The sheer ridiculousness of his son's first word was incredible. As he walked over to the computer, he said,

"I resent that label. Same with the name, geek. Neither of them quite apply to me, anymore. I have ascended!" He laughed at that last part. "I'm still working on the new name. If you have any suggestions, I'm open to hear them."

He got to the work table and noticed how flat and large it was. There was, of course, stuff on it...but that could be easily cleared. He got to the computer and got to work establishing the base code. Nowadays, almost every kind of code could be copied and pasted from the Holonet. For something that was as age old as IFF and HUD tech, this was no exception. While that all loaded in, he too yelled across the shop to his wife.

"You know, babe?! After this is all done, I could think of some work for you on top of this table! A little table clearing and I could give YOU something YOUR speed!"

With the chest piece wrapping up the woman moved on to the helmet and began to craft and forge it's plate layer. She would of course have to add in the layer of Agrinium afterwards not to mention wiring in the CPU, but then again that could be something that her husband to handle. But speaking of Jarven the woman chuckled at his gestures and their child's first word. She was madly in love with the man and just as much as the day they were first married, despite having kids, the drama of their circumstances, she loved him perhaps even more now.

"Oh, and what might that be?!" the woman teased back as she had the droids hammer the two helmets.

Quickly cooling the helmet she finished up the plate layer then moved on to the remaining armor. It didn't take too long but she decided to flip the droids on auto and let them handle it for the time being. There was of course other work to be done.

"Hey love! When you're done with that can you help me with these boxes? I ordered some Agrinium mesh and If you can get these crates open it would mean a lot." the woman smiled and stood by the loading bay with various crates at her feet that needed opening.

All she had to do now was assemble the helmet system and then coat the armor systems with their various attachments to get them up and running.

Jarven loved his wife dearly. She was more precious than any metal in the galaxy to him. She was an incredibly skilled individual and one of the most exciting people in the galaxy to be around. Jarven's life had been one rock bottom followed by a magic carpet ride...followed by another rock bottom. Yeah, he'd been picked up and dropped multiple times, but she was so worth it. She was his life support and he was her pillar.

Jarven was about to shoot something back real witty-like...but, then he looked around at the numerous amounts of robots in the area. Yeah, they were just synthetics. But, all synthetics processed their environment. They could record and playback an organic's words. It really put a damper on Jarven's mind about the idea of potentially embarassing info leaks, let alone the prospect of rewarding workplace sex.

As such, his grin had slowly started to fade as he yelled back,

"Oh, you know...married stuff!..." He started scratching himself nervously and then keyed a new, long queue of commands for the computer to follow before heading over to his wife.

When he got there, he asked,

"Umm...Who has access to the droids other than you? You know, call me paranoid, but I wouldn't want someone accessing their feed and...you know, trying to extort us or anything like, uh...trade secrets, personal conversations...sex tape?"

He then put his hand firmly in the small of her back and came in for a kiss. A good one, too. He pulled away quickly, though, to tease her. He then reached for the complimentary crow bar and started to get to work.

"Married stuff? I'm sorry Jarven when did we go back to grade school? Maybe while we're at it I could braid your hair or God forbid give you cooties." Patricia giggled and watched her husband swing around her.

He asked his question and Patricia chuckled a bit at them, the man was married to a former model/stripper/and maybe occasional adult film star. So that summed up to Patricia not really being ashamed of her sex life, even after three kids her body was great and she was proud of her hard work. Well hard work and a few pieces of anti aging technology, there was simply too much to do and so little time. But back to the matter at hand the woman would answer her husband's question.

"What's the matter Jarven? Afraid that people are going to see you naked? Trust me you have nothing to be embarrassed about and I've been in enough nudie magazines to tell you I don't really care."

"But if you must know I'm the only one that can access them. I fit them with biometric scanners so there's no way for anyone other than me to access them. Now let's finish this up then make a movie." the woman kissed her husband back then would have her team of droid's take the pieces of armor back to the crafting tables near the mannequins.

Walking over to the forge area the ultrachrome plates were wrapped up and everything was set to be assembled. Snapping her fingers at the droids they took the two sets of armor and assembled them atop the power mesh. So with that done the woman would take the two helmets over to her crafting table to begin the process of wiring them.

"Here come wire this other helmet with me. It goes Agrinium mesh, rubber lining, CPU then padding." This was it, the last step.

"That's it, booger brain! I'm done sharing my crayons with you!" said Jarven in a mock upset tone. He tried to keep a straight face after that.

"But, this made me think of something. What age are we going to give our kids the sex talk? If we don't talk to our kids about it first, when they're the right age, then they'll find out ridiculous things through the Holonet and have one less topic they feel comfortable talking to us about."

"As for public nudity...Well, I'm, uhh...I've never been the exhibitionist type. I can imagine that if I was ever seen naked by multiple people, I'd probably be swinging my fists and running for the nearest exit. Now, I can fully appreciate the many life skills you've earned throughout your life, but, me personally?? The thought just makes me...Oooh!" He shivered and squirmed a bit.

"That's just really weeeeiird!" His face scrunched up like a kinrath pup.

He kept dutifully prying the crates open. It was tiring work, but the conversation was intriguing, to say the least.

"Oh! If we're going to make a movie, we should probably make a script." He started thinking up a script to read off to his wife through the notepad program in his brain implant.

"The bodacious blonde steps into the office and says, "You wanted to see me, boss?" The boss, that'd be me by the way, would then say, "Do you think I haven't noticed that you've been stealing from this company?" Then, you'd say "Oh, no. What are you going to do with me?"...Wait, no. That's moving too fast. Does that sound like a theme you've done too much of or...on second thought, don't answer that. You think something up, baby."

He went back once to update the IFF and HUD process and also make sure everything was on track. No screw ups. This was for his wife, so it needed to be the best work.

Then, he went back over to his wife, nuzzled her a little playfully with his face, kissed the back of her head and got to work assembling. He muttered to himself as he worked,

"Agrin...rubber...CPU...padding. Got it."

Patricia couldn't help but laugh, a genuine one at that. After a moment she looked over to her husband and gave him a very happy look, a smile with the lines on her forehead raised to show there was no one she'd rather spend the rest of her life with.

"I was thinking more of the sexy student angle, you know. "Young lady if you want this F to be an A you have to let me F you in your A." I think it hits all the dynamics." Patricia giggled again then started to work on the helmet.

Taking the Agrinium mesh that acted like a faraday cage she plastered it on the top of the helmet then applied the rubber lining, once that was there she began the process of wiring the CPU to the rubber and making sure it was set. Jarven had wired up the other helmet and took care of the HUD system. With those set she worked fast and placed the padding of the helmet while she thought of her husband's other question.

"Honestly I don't know, my parents never gave me the talk. I had to figure that stuff out myself and Emily is getting to that point, she's fifteen and I think we really need to give her the talk. But as for Junior and Kincaid I think we need to give them a bit more time, I know it sounds selfish of me but I just want them to be my babies for a little while longer before we introduce them to the world of adult problems like protection and dating." Patricia reached over and grabbed a visor.

Taking the visor she placed it on the helmet and made it click with a firm setting. Placing that to the side she sighed and was honestly getting to this point in her life.

"Remember when we met? God life was so much more simpler." Patricia handed the helmet off to a droid who took it towards the armor.

"We went on dates, saw movies, everything was just easier." The woman looked over to her husband and gave him a very weary and worried look.

"Yeah. Nowadays, we have to deal with Spacebook and...Craig's List...Oh, honey! I wasn't talking about telling the boys any time soon! I thought 12 years would be the right time..."

She started looking weary for once. He took the opportunity to lean in, kiss her on the lips and then prop his forehead against hers lovingly.

"Yeah. Much simpler, though. You tried to bone everything that moved. I tried to not die in every ship I flew. You tried to bone me. I tried to tame you with food and back massages and punching walls. Good times...You know what? We should make more memories like that. Let's go back to Antecedent for a trip. Let's go see a movie or two at that old theater down on 9th. Let's go eat the Durese over at Charlysle's Way again. I really want to go back to that couch with the knife in it and have sex right there. I think it'd be really symbolic, let alone hot."
