SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Using Coursing Stun technology, he can deliver powerful Stun Attacks with his fist. While it would be more practical to just use his armor's Vibroknuckles, those are rather lethal, and Bounty Hunting is a complicated profession. These power of these Stun Attacks are just as potent as the one his Stun Grenades do and are just as safe, though likely more dangerous due to Deryn's sheer strength and the weight of his armor.
  • There is also a ranged option capable of sending out Ranged Stun Blasts which might not be as potent but still more potent than normal stun settings from normal Stun Settings from guns such as the E-11.
  • If there is ever the need to, he could increase the power of the Stun Attacks and Stun Blasts which makes them more lethal in order to deal with beings often times resistant to Stun Settings.
  • Due to the small, compressed setting, the knuckles are extremely durable and are generally immune to damage from up blasters and slugthrowers below Extreme stopping power. Though, this does add a bit of unnecessary weight which, while it doesn't lower speed or maneuverability because of Deryn's superhuman strength, it does make it more lethal which is counter-productive.
STRENGTHS
  • Non-Lethal, perfect for Bounties that need to be brought it alive.
  • Increases punching power due to weight while not decreasing Deryn's attack speed because its Deryn and he is practically 75% power-armor at this point.
WEAKNESSES
  • Disables the use of his Vibroknuckles on his Power-Shell.
  • The increase in punching power is miniscule in comparison to Deryn's already extreme punching power. Like said before, his punches as is are lethal enough. It goes against the idea of the weapon.
DESCRIPTION
Deryn isn't especially equipped in close-quarters combat, preferring marksmanship over martial arts, though certainly capable. In addition to all that, in close-quarters combat, he doesn't trust that his restraint on his strength can prevent life-threatening injuries while still being meaningful attacks. As such, he made this so he doesn't have to worry about having to provide adequate amounts of strength. With his Stun Gaunts, slid over the back of his Armored Hand and onto his knuckles, he can use minimal force for maximum outcome, so none of his bounties have to worry about any broken bones from fighting an approximately 750 kilogram opponent, as long as they aren't too much trouble, that is.
