The Republic Force Enclave!​

The Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order has long history together. The light side of the force has always been a centerpiece of the democratic idea that is the commonwealth of the Republic. The present is no different but chaos has struck the galaxy and the path of the jedi is no longer as clear as it ones was.

Times change and during the recent jedi schism the jedi order officially detached its support of the Republic and removed themselves as the Republics prime force users.
Not all jedi agreed on this and many remained behind forming their own jedi enclave as Republic Jedi under the premise that the Republic was too quickly abandoned.

Despite these jedi that remained there was no question about that the capacity of the Republic had been severely crippled. The Force during this era of chaos behaved chaotic and people with an affinity for the force becoming a more and more common sight. To not have an understanding and protection against this posed a great threat to any nation in the Galaxy. New ways of approaching this crucial matter lead to the formation of a school for force users that while under jedi supervision were not jedi themselves.

Present organisation
In the Galactic Republic the Force users form two groups;
The Republic Jedi Knights and the Republic Force Academy.

The Republic Jedi are strict jedi, following the jedi code of old and leading their lives inside the Republic with the belief that the ancient bond between the state and the Jedi Order is vital to uphold.
As Republic Jedi one serve as defender and advisor to Republic officials whenever required.
Jedi are not allowed any position of power within the Republic Government and are for example refused a seat in the senate. This is upheld both by the Republic and the Jedi order itself.

The Jedi has sworn to protect the light of the Republic and its democratic ideals giving them an honorary position within the commonwealth but still a body with independence toward the state.
The Republic Jedi are however funded by the state.

As servants of the Republic they are also tasked with the responsibility of supervising and controlling the Force Academy, being the neutral garants that the school for force users remain a power of light.

Inside the Force Academy any force sensitive capable fo following the light side of the force is welcome to study and the bond between the Force Academy and the Jedi are a strong one where it is more common than not to see Jedi Knight teach the way of the force to the students of the Academy. The jedi only offer to train the force users in the force powers and direct the training so that the force wielder understand and recognizes how to avoid the dark side of the force. They do not teach the jedi code although advice and suggestions on how to lead ones life in general to avoid the dark side temptations are fairly common.

Students of the force academy are more free in regards to making a career inside the Republic and students from both branches are even encouraged to seek employment inside the Republic government to use their skills and knowledge to aid the Republic.
Thus, while a jedi can never be a member of the senate, a student in the Force Academy could become one or pursue any other career within the Galactic Republic or beyond.


Knights of the Republic
The Republic Jedi are organized in a jedi enclave with locations spread to a few places within the Republic. Their lives are simple and monastic of nature. They follow the traditions of old with a stern view on themselves as servants first and foremost.

The Republic Knight titles are:

• Grand Master (leader of the enclave and counsel for all within the Enclave)
• Council member (democratic body of masters)
• Special Appointment (Act as liaison to senate for reports, meet with home security minister)
• Master
• Knight
• Padawan

Within the Republic jedis responsibility lies to oversee and provide for the Jedi Academy.

The Force Academy
The Force users in the Force Academy lead civilian or military lives. They do however attend classes at the Academy to further their insight and level of skill of the force.
However, unlike Jedi, their military or civilian career defines what they are, not their level of force affinity.
The school also uses non-jedi as teachers.
Non-jedi that show promise can also become teachers in the Force Academy. Applying to the Force Academy means to meet and undergo a scrutinizing procedure with a jedi Master that approves or denies the new student and it is also a safety procedure that the Jedi approves teachers and Rector before they are given employment in the Force Academy.
Entrance to the Academy does have some restrictions, while it is open to force users it does not cater to those overtly darkside oriented.

There are two branches within the Force Academy:

• Civilian School: Apollo Foundation
• Military School: Institute of Paranormal Studies (IPS)

Before you sign up for the Republic Force Enclave make sure to have read this.

Knights

• A Republic Knight is charged with protecting the weak and serve the ideal of the Galactic Republic.
• A Republic knight follow the jedi code as decided on by the Council of masters.
• A Republic Knight is a servant to the people of the Republic and may never claim a position in a ruling body of the Government or otherwise impose his or her own will upon the democratic process.
• A Republic Knight is charged with instructing force users, even non-jedi, about the way of the light and offer support and advice to wherever the need arise.
• A Republic Knight is expected to behave as a representative of the Knights and the Republic at all times.

Force students

• A student of the Republic Force Enclave may never use the dark side of the force and has accepted that the Republic Knights will conduct tests to ensure that the force sensitive individual never strays from the light.
• Students are expected to contribute with scientific research to further the force associated technology and education that will be used to progress the Republics resources.
• A Student must accept the inspection of the Jedi and answer any summon to hearing regarding usage of the force if it is requested by the jedi order.

Council
The Council is led by the Grand Master and the rest of the council is constructed from Jedi Masters and Rectors of the Academy. New members are appointed by the council or the Grand Master him/herself if the council fails to stay active. Members are drafted from the jedi masters but Rectors of the force academy have been known to take a seat, especially on matters concerning educational or other practical questions regarding the Force Academy.

History of the Jedi Order on Chaos​

Rising from the dark times of the Gulag Plague the jedi order was scattered on planets forming small cells that worked until communications could be reestablished and the order restored. As time went on and everything seemed to settle into a state of normalcy the jedi found a purpose in protecting the recovering Republic.

Teferi: Uniter of the jedi order after the darkness and refounder of the great temple on Coruscant. His tenure saw the Republic through the Clockwork Rebellion.

Ben Watts: A talented jedi grandmaster who reformed the Army of light to fight the sith at Metalorn, after the defeat the army was disbanded as the jedi order faced a schism with the silent conclave leaving. Led the jedi to victory in the confrontation against the Dark Harvesters.

Je'gan: For a short time before he left the order for the Atrisian Empire, worked to ensure all jedi who fought at Metalorn were tried within the order for crimes in killing sith soldiers. Further dividing the order and pitting them into a state of infighting.

Darron Wraith: An intermediary master who took the order after Je'gan vanished. Bringing them to the Shepard as a new home to contain and keep the order safe as it tried to recover.

Selena Halcyon: With Darron Wraith vanishing from the galaxy an exiled jedi returned to galvanize the order alongside the brother of Teferi. Selena did a lot to reform the jedi and unite them with the Republic in a common cause against the sith empire. Getting the Chancellor Harkness to sign off on reforming the Jedi Lords and army to strike at the sith in a campaign against them and their allies. The endeavor was successful as the jeid managed to move through sith space and liberated the newly discovered world of Valen.

Joshua Dragonsflame: After Selena united the jedi, Joshua a young an inexperienced master was placed in charge as she left due to the consensus she was a war general and not made for working in peaceful times. His tenure as grandmaster was shortlived as within the first week of his appointment he was out politiced.

The masks of madness event was a time of turmoil for the galaxy as the celestials conflict and plan brought about untold levels of fear and possible destruction They had been working on many of the things with the Republic to help out where they could on the worlds where temporal events showed.

Kiskla Greyson: A shrewd politician of a jedi who saw the jedi suffer defeat after defeat at the hands of the one sith while her appointed members rooted out and exiled jedi who found reason to disagree. Through her actions the Order of the Silver Jedi were resurrected under Iella E'ron with others. More left the order going to form their own and others fell to the darkside in battle after battle against the One Sith.

Corvus Raaf: After KIskla vanished from the order in battle Corvus a young master who had grown in the order in the battles came to be the grandmaster. Seeking something new to revitalize the jedi order as it broke away from the Republic. The intermingling of jedi and politics under the previous grandmaster had to many jedi controlling the republic and to much influence and politics within the order. The jedi under her split off leaving the ones who wished to stay and serve the Republic to stay. No ill will was given but the Republic required the break to recover its own works and senators.

The incidents of the netherworld were a trying time and as the jedi searched for their people they were working to try and aid the galaxy as billions across the galaxy had disappeared with danger and communications lost in a way it hadn't been since the dark times. As the battles happened against the celestial enemy Corellia was shattered and nearly destroyed leading to dangerous repercussions across the galaxy.

Mantic Dorn: Replacing and bringing order after Corvus split the order off from the Republic. Mantic lead those who sought to remain loyal to the original vision and provided a home to educate all force users within the Republic. The recovery efforts for the jedi order into an enclave that would protect and serve to work with the Republic.

Mako Aku: After Mantic left the order following Togoria the remaining jedi voted in the elder master Mako. Taking the grandmaster position as there were only two masters within the order left. One declined his offer for the council and to help remake it while the other was deemed unfit for now and needed to grow and develop. Having the development of the jedi to spread out through the republic and aid as many worlds as they could with their people.

The Army of Light​

A powerful goal and cause that has inspired the jedi many times throughout the order after the dark times. Something wanted with fervor and then quickly abandoned afterwards because or meditation and focus. Throughout the order and the other orders in the galaxy the Army of Light has been raised almost a doen times and met with little success beyond a single campaign. As an inspirational aid it is great to rally jedi to your cause but it serves little else.
