Jarrah Uni
Character
*One moment, she was a frightened girl, trying too hard to hold it together in the face of the unknown. She had experienced violence and threats to her life and by the grace of something, she was still walking. The next moment, she found herself feeling less like a child out of her depths, and more like the adult she truly was. Yes, the things she had just walked through were bad and she would face her fears but surrounded in a sea of tranquility, she no longer felt controlled by it. The tears dried and the trembling subsided.
Deep indigo eyes opened to see him standing there in front of her, the feeling of calmness radiating from him in opposition to his appearance and the things she had seen him do. She took a last sobering breath, knowing somehow that he was responsible for this ease that now settled around her shoulders.*
"How did you do that?"
*Her voice was soft, and did not break now, even if it still carried the weight of tears that had flowed through her like tides. This was no time to be sorry for herself, and probably not the place to be asking those kinds of questions either. The courage to carry on also came with the courage to ask a question about it as well.*
