DESCRIPTION
Marev wanted to give his biological father a weapon that could both, be used for a unique close combat self defense. So he hired Beskar'ad Inc to create a unique yet versatile weapon.
Kal, utilizing the Protector Revolver design, stripped the slug thrower and mounted it to a pauldron reinforced with impact material. Adding a second cylinder to boost the ammo capacity (due to the lengthy reload time) he also shortened the barrel to reduce recoil and aid in the weapon's low profile.
Choosing to design the weapon with three ways to fire, the first was manually with locating a trigger under the central barrel. The second way saw Kal adding a comlink, servos (which also operate the barrel from a 'prone' position to a 'pointing' position), and a relay switch allowing Strider to fire 'hands free' via his heads up display or even a comlink in the same frequency. The third way to fire the weapon was more dangerous and less accurate. On the interior plate was a pressure plate that, if hit with the correct force (via collision with a target or even a rigorous pelvic thrust), would fire the weapon.
The design allows for the weapon to be worn over a cod piece of armor or even within the trousers. A light armor weave fabric hides the weapon from exterior view which tears away when the weapon is 'pointed' allowing concealment until it's use.
